Looking for support - glioblastoma
Have not had much luck finding any online
speech
therapy
sessions. For a while lack of sleep was a big issue, but that seems to have improved the last few days. Overall just overwhelmed. We don't have much in the way of a support system. Small family (both only children).

Hoarse voice after thyroid surgery
I have requested a referral to
speech
therapy
but haven't heard back about whether the consultant has agreed to make the referral. I was told my surgery was successful, they didnt mention that they felt there had been any nerve damage, surely they would have to tell me if they suspected this?

chatGPT's opinion on PD - Simple and wise
Physical and Occupational Therapy: Physical therapy can help improve mobility, balance, and coordination, while occupational
therapy
can help with daily activities, such as dressing and grooming.

PD and Speech Therapy
I lost the post asking about PD and speech problems. .. but I am a retired Speech Pathologist, so after my Hwp was diagnosed, I started researching Speech programs for PD. I was most impressed with the Speak Out program, and became certified to be able to use best technique to work with my husband.

Speech and Language team in the UK
Just an update on my wife (Jackie, diagnosed since 29th Jan 23) and her PSP path, she had a visit from the
Speech
and Language
therapy
team yesterday and it's not good. She's struggling with food, she'd said that food wasn't going down.

Moving forward
Before my diagnosis, I had various symptoms that I could not control, and afterward would lose parts of my memories, it was people's names and events later I had a seizure but sometimes in my sleep. It was either when I was fully awake and alert and I could see my surroundings but then if I did have

B.A.T and Provenge trial.
After 9mo the Arv-766 started to fail. I will be starting a combination therapy trial through Yale using B.A.T. And Provenge. This is the first time I’ve heard of such a combo. There are only 6 of us in this trial. Is there anyone else on this trial or have any experience with using both treatments

Supporting evidence for PIP
I’m ploughing through the online form and it keeps saying about supporting evidence. I was diagnosed in 2021 by my then GP in the midlands over the Covid period - so not many doctor visits. Not much prescribed, using paracetamol and/or ibuprofen as and when necessary. Basically have been self-managing
