Best treatments for metastaic prostate cancer? (Non-hormone resistant)
I have seen various studies that show that xtandi in combination with docetaxol may work better than either of them alone. My grandfather will be undrgoing docetaxol treatment after many years of lupron and radiation. It now has metastisized to bone in lumbar region. There is also some swollen lymph

Losartan and cough
My meds were changed from Candesartan to Losartan a couple of months ago after 3 years because of BP issues/low
sodium
. Since then I seem to have a constant throat rattle and wheeze and have to cough to clear it. Has anyone else had this on Losartan?

Alendronic acid (sodium alendronate): a dilemma...
Hello lupus sufferers, When I was first diagnosed with SLE, DLE and lupus nephritis some 4 years ago I was initially prescribed high doses of corticosteroid, Prednisolone, 50mg to begin with, MMF, hydroxychlorine etc including weekly 70mg tablets of Alendronic acid. I was told by the consultant nephrologist

Flare Up of D at Party
Hello, I should be used to it, but a flare up of sudden D coupled with cramps and nausea at a party last week has really knocked my confidence. One not very private loo and people rattling the door as I was in there a long time. I left after that. I was fine all day and had taken a precautionary Imodium

Always anxious and depressed
My first post here. I have suffered from anxiety all of my life, generalized anxiety and social anxiety. I’m 39 and it’s just getting worse as I am getting older. I have frequent anxiety attacks, I worry constantly and have racing thoughts. My stomach is always sick, I use pepto and Imodium daily. I

Valproate 1500 mg a day and zuclopenthixol 20-40mg a day. I get all sorts of flashbacks and nightmares around birthdays, Christmas and Easter. I had to give notice in my cleaning job as I am suffering from social anxiety and depression.

Efficacy of Radium-223 in Bone-Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer With and Without Homologous Repair Gene Defects
This is another small-sample piece on radionuclides and Homologous Repair Defects. Dr. Sartor also made an additional comment on this piece right here. I'm hoping to see genetic profiling becoming a standard procedure for all cancer patients. "TAKE-HOME MESSAGE Somatic tumor and germline DNA testing

What’s worse. Bradycardia or AF?
The hospital put me on 6 Sando- effervescent tablets to get my
sodium
levels up. A few days later I was back in, following waking with very heavy sweats. I then reverted back to AF before getting my HR right. That was about four days ago.
