Resetting the Bar of Castration Resistance - Understanding Androgen Dynamics in Therapy Resistance and Treatment Choice in PCa
New paper below [1]. I have watched plenty of videos where Neal Shore, Alicia Morgans & Charles Ryan get together at a conference to discuss the presentations that interested them. Here they are in a paper - can a video be far behind? I think that the paper addresses some issues that have often been

Follow up: Auximen Scan showed significant new cancerous growth and there is a whirlwind of information to absorb and choices to be made.
I met with MO's at Penn and Jefferson last week to review options for responding to active cancerous growth. They both mentioned 4 options but each ruled out 1 quickly. I had appointments with each last week. Penn on Monday and Jefferson on Tuesday. The following are the options given to me. 1. Switch

My doctors are refusing to monitor T3
Finally convinced my endo.specialist to prescribed Liothyronine
sodium
5mcg around 6 months ago. My doctors are refusing to monitor T3 and increase the dose if needed. Pls. see my blood work results in the last 6 months. I learned a lot from this group.

Does anyone have low CO2 readings on their labs?
My doctor was not too concerned and said to increase my
sodium
citrate that I take. But, I was feeling really crappy for a while. However, once I increased my dosage, my symptoms have vastly improved. Anyone else have this and if so, can you share any symptoms you had?

Newbie
I have had a phone consultation with the NHS dietician that has told me that I must now eat a LOW not NO Fat diet incorporating low
sodium
and sugar. This sounded fine to begin with and now I have a few questions that I can't find definitive answer to and am hoping you can help.

Dietary numbers
My dad's renal dietitian doesn't want to give me amount of
sodium
/potassium/phosphorus he should be within for his daily meals. Is there a site I can plug his numbers in from his lab that will tell me how many mg is ok for him?

Can't Find Accurate Description of Liothyronine (T3)
So far I have looked at Drugs.com webmd.com medlineplus.gov uofmhealth.org pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov goodrx.com rxlist.com NOTE: This last site at least discusses the structure of the molecule and includes this text: "Cytomel (liothyronine

Possibly getting off exforge
Magnesium always normal, same for Calcium,
Sodium
, etc. My ESR and CRP fluctuates between elevated and out of range, to normal. When I take a specific type of Magnesium supplement(I've tried several), it seems to improve my symptoms a little.

Surgery to the spine for mets
I have mets to my spine in the cervical and thoracic regions and have had the maximum radiation allowed to that area. It seems there is new activity in the area and the Docs are discussing surgery to try and eliminate some of the spinal compression causing pain and numbness. Has anyone undergone surgery

Six years into PMR. What should my GP be testing me for?
I'm thinking I ought to get another dexa scan despite the fact I have been taking calcium and aledronic acid, and another blood test to check blood sugar/thyroid/liver and kidney function/potassium and
sodium
levels. Any thoughts on the above and anything else I should ask for at the review?

Advice on blood test results for teenager
We’re still waiting for results from a third blood test taken two weeks later which should be more complete but these are the results from the second test: TSH 2.47 Free T4 10.3 (on blood test no. 1 two to three weeks earlier this was 11.1)
Sodium
140 Urea 3.2 Creatinine 54 Total bilirubin 7 Albumin

I know
sodium
can be an issue, but with the AF I also don't tend to cook with salt or use too much extra. Anything useful you've done during an episode, before or after would be appreciated.

Auximen scan shows significant new cancerous activity and last post about my brother
Unfortunately, this is the last post about my brother. He passed away on October 6. My brother showed great fortitude against very long odds, and his courage and strength of spirit during this brutal battle was inspirational. I am heartbroken to lose him, but I know the cliché that he is finally at peace
