Low sodium too much caffeine
Does anyone else have trouble with drinking too many fluids? I have a bad habit of drinking a lot of tea. I almost ended up in the hospital last week. Dr told me to cut down two glasses a day buy I just can't. I've tried biotene gatorade hard candy

Hyponatremia, Raynaud's and P.S.V.T

Are all Blood Pressure Meds Awful?
I realise they may be/are lifesaving, but after nearly 30 years I am running out of options for BP control. For many years I took 25mg atenolol, 20 Lisinopril and 1.5 Indapamide. The latter seemed to make the biggest difference. I can’t take large doses of beta blockers as they stop me from breathing

Blood test results in full. Can anyone find a cause in there for my continued fatigue etc?
I still have the same symptoms, although some have improved a bit, but not gone, by any means. Still housebound. I list below Blood test results. Can anyone suggest an issue that may cause my symptoms because my GP says no action, normal. Serum 25 - HO Vit D3 level 135nmol/L 50-174

Pain in right side
Have a tender painful area on my right side toward my upper back. At first I thought it must be a deep bruise, but it is not getting better. I don’t believe it is the right location to be my liver or a kidney. I do not have a gallbladder. What is it? Could it be my kidney after all? Doctor appointment

Mum's battle
Hi all, Mum has suffered from adrenal insufficiency over the past 15 years, as well as pernicious anemia, hypothyroidism, low WBC count and was hospitalised several times with low electrolytes. The electrolyte imbalance was caused by the cortisol acetate supplement she takes. She was numerous doctors

sodium
Hi I got blood results recently and I have hypothyroidism which is been treated with Eltroxin 25mcg and I also have low sodium. Sodium level is 134 which is just one below normal range. I’m not been treated for this and I’m wondering is this something I should be concerned about and get it investigated

Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone else had, had a bad experience with their laparoscopy? I have suffered with endometriosis for 18 years ((I am 34 yes old)) (constantly misdiagnosed, gas lighted, not listened to, told it was normal period pains and to "just get on with it" - you know the usual story for

Some time ago, just over 2 years now I had to go into hospital for just a day with a breathing problem and whilst there I had several blood tests. I was told one of them, the kidney function test was abnormal and I might be referred to see a renal consultant. That actually didn't happen. I have

Understand Your Blood Work
this is from a Canadian PBC Society PBC FACT SHEET (09/02/16) (may vary by lab) ALP Alkaline Phosphatase This enzyme occurs mainly in liver cells next to bile ducts, and in bone. The blood level is raised in PBC and is the main enzyme that is checked to see if you have a response to treatment
