Possibly hypo - diarrhoea and day long nausea
Hi there. I’ve hashi and coeliac (on road to recovery I believe from recent biopsy). But have diarrhoea most mornings (I’m certain not from gluten) and last few weeks feel truly dreadful - constant nausea from waking til late afternoon, only relieved by eating. Sweet things particularly have an instant

Newbie here!!
Hi, completely new to all this!! So, i was diagnosed with ibs just over a year ago. Main symptoms were constant bloating and constipation although sometimes that can alternate with diarrhoea. They think it was originally triggered by a dodgy sauce from a restaurant which made me ill after eating it.

Spoiler Alert: Since the diet and supplement wars have often been fought in this forum with no one but the true-believers convinced by the arguments presented, I thought I would dedicate this post to the people who may agree with me. Of course others are free to voice their disagreement, but be warned

Acid levels and kidney disease
One of the causes for kidney deterioration can be from high acid levels. That is one of my main issues. It is called metabolic acidosis. In my case it is caused from having psoriatic arthritis. Many people try changing their acid level by eating certain alkaline foods (chart of alkaline foods https:/

Howl do I manage Meneire's disease?
How do I manage Meneire's disease? My doctor diagnosed it but offered no methods of managing it with diet, exercise, or otherwise. I'm looking for a regimen/routine that will help with the reduction of sodium in my diet. How much? How little? Complete abstinence? Also, some ideas for fluid consumption

I plan to inject once every three months. I have always been prescribed Hydroxocobalamin 1mg in 1ml solution for injection

Drain cycles
A hepatology nurse remarked today that as I was on a 14 day drain cycle ( producing on average 9-10 litres of ascites) and having been put on a 10 day cycle by the consultant I can expect to produce more ascites. The more frequent the drains the more ascites you make if that makes sense. Has anyone else

Do runners need salt.
I carry water for longer runs and on hot days, but I don't add anything to it. In the hope of one day running further I wonder whether I should be adding salt/electrolyte/sodium etc. It seems to be one of those unfounded beliefs out there that it is required, but I don't know how true that is? https
