taxotere may be last thing left
CR to zytiga and xtandi. PSA went from 3 to 290 in last 4 months. Had 4 bone mets and 22 rounds of radiation that just ended last week. In two weeks I start taxotere. Does anyone know what I can expect from the taxotere? Chances of working?

breathing trouble suspected at night, apnea?
I suppose this is the best support group for this condition. I recently began recording my sleep sounds via an app on my phone every night for about a week out of curiosity as to whether I snore, not sharing my bed doesn't allow me to know for certain. I've listened to many sounds that worry me, I have

duloxetine
Hi it would be nice to get any body to share there experiences and opinions with Duloxetine, it was suggested that my wife goes on this one instead of Mirtazapine, because she also suffers from and duloxetine apparently can also deal with the pain side of things apart from dealing with the mental heal

Information is the key to helping yourself.
Some useful info on this site, in particular, take note of the info that caffeine seems neuroprotective, also the bit about Acetyl L Carnitine helping the myalin sheath around the nerve. https://www.intechopen.com/books/a-synopsis-of-parkinson-s-disease/melatonin-in-parkinson-s-disease

Getting Worse??
I'm 60 and have had RLS for what seems to be forever. I was diagnosed when I had a sleep test close to 20 years ago. I'm on Mirapex (Pramipexole) 50 Mg. I sometimes think that it's getting worse over the years. It's this happening to anyone else? I think sitting on hard surfaces can make it worse too

Cymbalta
I have just been prescribed Cymbalta for pelvic pain/vulvodynia, depression, anxiety which occurs with chronic pain. I am currently taking 20 mg twice a day. I am unable to sleep without the sleep of a sleep aid now and feel tired, groggy and worse overall. I am considering stopping this drug.

Dr appointment and ampyra
Saw my neuro today. He was completely amazed at how much better I’m doing! I know every drug works differently for people but ampyra has been my miracle! I am walking almost normally. Since I’m not working so hard to walk I’m conserving energy so my fatigue is doing better. And that means my speech

Help sleeping
I've been either sleeping too much someday or not at all. Besides melatonin does anyone know of a over the counter sleep aid I can use for those nights that are impossible for me to sleep?! Thanks in advance.

Vitamin D research
LAM action found that that Vit D protein is 2/3 lower in LAM patients. So they also measured Vit D levels in blood and found they were lower than normal. All that improved with Rapamycin I must say in my case my Vegf-d ( LAM bio marker) is lower since I have started on Vit D and I am not on Rapamycin

CPAP weaning!
Hi Irina I was on a cpap machine for 8 years after a minor brain haemorrhage. I never had the typical apnea symptoms and only knew I had it due to my wife's insistance that I stopped breathing for long periods during my sleep. The cpap stopped the apnea but I never felt any benefit to my general health
