Vaccination - MMR
Hi there, My granddaughter had a live vaccine of MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) yesterday. We were planning a family dinner tonight. Does anyone know if that's OK, with CLL?

Cimzia/methotrexate/hydroxy = coldsores and mouth sores
I am quite used to my mouth shedding skin and having an occasional sore inside my mouth but since starting Cimzia a few months ago, am getting a recurring coldsore and more mouth sores than before (on the positive side, my joints feel much better, as do my energy levels). I am due to see rheumatology

Picking some thyroid brains out there..... After some info/opinions on why my body has started producing thyroglobulin antibodies?!??!
Bit of history.... Thyroid cancer 2006, thyroid removed and RAI. Treated with Thyroxine since and blood work and thyroglobulin and antibodies have all been great until now. Thyroglobulin is still undetectable but thyroglobulin antibodies have appeared. Any opinions appreciated.

Lump removal
Had two lumps removed yesterday under local anesthetic, both on my right ribs. The surgeon was great, he was American and went through everything with me, before and afterwards. I have had a few of these removed previously and was told they are lipomas, I asked the doctor if they could be Dercums disease

How dangerous is sedation or general anesthetic?
My guy is set to have a procedure that it usually done under anesthesia, but can be done, with some discomfort of course, with local anesthetic only. I have heard many stories of psp patients - and others - who suffer irreversible loss of intellectual functioning after anesthesia, but am I overreacting

Aussie Ticks come with different risks
Regular CLL Forum readers would be familiar with warnings about the risk of getting Lyme Disease from ticks However in Australia, no causative agent for this illness has been isolated from local ticks or wildlife, and the most commonly encountered tick in Australia has been shown to be unable to transit

Any ideas why my big toenails have gone yellow?
I've noticed for the last couple of weeks my big toe nails have turned yellow they are also thick like rhino horn! I don't think it's a fungal infection they don't hurt itch or smell, I don't paint my nails either. Would any side effects cause nails to do this I'm on methotrexate and humira. Any ideas
