Running post sciatica
Hi All, I took up running after my CABG to help keep fit 2 years ago but I had a really bad bout of sciatica in Sept that completely stopped me in my tracks. I'm just getting to the point where I can walk 5K and am hoping I can start running again, leg and back permitting. Has anyone else been in a

Hi, With all the meds I'm taking in first year after triple CABG is it safe to take supplements (namely Vitamin D / zinc in winter months)? Or will I be overwhelming my liver? Thanks

Question for CLL’ers being treated with IBRUTINIB and needing DENTAL WORK/IMPLANT: I’ve been on Obinutuzumab/Ibrutinib clinical trial for two years - and I’m doing well. I am Trisomy 12, unmutated and Notch positive. I need to have a tooth extracted. My DDS insists I use an oral surgeon. Yes, I understand

Sternum Clicking post CABG
I am experiencing Sternum Clicking post CABG. Now 4 weeks since surgery and I’ve had minor clicking for about 2-weeks. Like 4-6 clicks or pops per day, mostly later in the day when I’m tired. Have you experienced this and how long does it take to heal? Thanks so much. It’s a bit disturbing 🙃

4 weeks post cabg and back in hospital.
Hi everyone it's been 4 weeks since my double bypass. I've been having breathing issues and yesterday Dr's asked me to go to hospital as fluid on my left lung. Dr's have just done ward rounds and my left lung is full of fluid. I could either have a needle put in but it would only drain 1 1/2 litres so

Hello guys, Had a heart attack and triple CABG 8 months ago. Is a 5:2 diet / lifestyle suitable for me right now or ever? 5:2 being, for 2 days of the week cut calorie intake to 600 (500 for women). Is there a minimum intake I need to maintain every day for optimum heart health? Thanks

Medication after HA & CABGx4
After my CABG in Nov 2020, I had a HA in June due to blockage of bypass. Artery that was bypassed and blocked is 55-75% stenosis. On top of the statins and asperine as a result of the CABG, I am now also on isosorbide-5-mononitrate and ranolazine, but not on clopidogrel or other blood thinners. My
