Is inconsistent bowel and urine part of the Prostate cancer? Also almost like dementia?
The last two months my husband has wet himself many times and almost many more times in the last week he has solid himself 3 times when we were out. He doesn't have diarrhea he says he can't tell he has to go until he HAS to go than it's to late. Also in the last two months he has done things like point

positive occult blood test but no parasites ?
I'm a mid-sixties female with R.A. Constipated until a year ago. Oftentimes in the last year (but not always) my poop looked well-formed but had something that looked like a string coming out the end, up to an inch long. My bowel habits changed a lot a few months ago/much less constipated. A couple

Good Bye Xeloda
Turns out all my anxiety over taking Xeloda was warranted (for me). I wanted to THANK all of you beautiful people who helped me through my decision. I appreciate ALL of you so much!! I ended up starting it last Wednesday and my doctor lowered my dose to start. She put me on 1500mg twice a day. I

Thinking of taking an ADT vacation
Hi, just got my latest PSA result yesterday...it was 0.07 ug/l down from 0.14 ug/l one month ago. I'm almost at the 6 month mark of my ADT journey. Six months ago, my PSA was 14.9 ug/l. I'm thinking of taking a break from the ADT because of the side effects. Is it too risky? Would the PSA start

AUS revision surgery?
I'm seeking advice on having a second AUS surgery. My background: I had a prostatectomy in 2016 and radiation a year later because the cancerous tumor had penetrated the sack. I have since had undetected PSA but have suffered with severe stress incontinence. I had AUS surgery in 2018 but it failed because

Nano Knife Surgery
I recently underwent a brand new surgical procedure called nano knife. Dr. Mayank Patel in Encino California, a da Vinci robotic and TULSA pro expert surgeon recommended this procedure after a panel of doctors examined my MRI and CT scans. The procedure was successful and five months post surgery

Moving on to hospice care
many of you have heard from me before at this point. My dad (68, diagnosed almost 2 years ago) had his last appointment with his MO two weeks ago or so. Radium 223 is out of the picture for him as he is just not well and it would not aid his survival at this point. They suggested some radiation for the

Radical prostatectomy consultant in the south of England
I've been diagnosed with prostate cancer, quite aggressive with a Gleason of 9 (4+5). No spread has been detected on a CT scan and I'm due to have a NM bone whole body scan on Friday to detect any spread to the bones. Assuming there is no or little spread, I am keen to have a radical laparoscopic prostatectomy

How was your Ovarian cancer diagnosed?
So, I'm 42 and have been on waiting list for nearly 12 months having been diagnosed with multiple fibroids. My GP recently ordered an ultrasound for me, to see if I could get in the 2 week pathway - as my FBC showed elevated levels of CA125. My ultrasound showed 2 small cysts on ovaries and some
