I had a major HA in April had 1 stent fitted. I then had 3 more stents fitted in June. I am now on the following: Bisoprolol Ticagralor Rosuvastatin Dapaglifozin Ezetimibe Ivabradine Sacaubitrul/Valsartin I loved my food and cooking. Now I don't fancy anything. My husband is a fab cook. However

Anxiety is back as bad as ever
Hi all, not doing well at all lately regarding anxiety. I know the reason but that doesn’t help. I have recently been told that I’m pre diabetic and that I have CKD both thought to be due to heart meds. Then the other day, out of the blue, another call from surgery regarding cholesterol results. Ezetimibe still a shortage..
Went to Boots last week to pick up my prescription as was told that they had no Ezetimibe but she had been in touch with the warehouse and they should have them by the 28th of this month. Anyone else still having problems sourcing this tablet ?

Edoxoban Update
I recently posted that my Cardiologist had put me on Edoxoban 30mg daily, instead of Aspirin which I had been taking for years. He said the Edoxoban was both safer, and unlike Aspirin would prevent the risk of stroke. A day after starting Edoxoban, I either came down with a cold, or allergy symptoms

High number of medications
I take 14 medications for heart failure, diabetes 2, GCA, High blood pressure, COPD and a CRT-D fitted. Yet I feel worn out and depressed. My legs are weak and losing muscle tone, my blood pressure crashes when I take my medication.I hardly go out now. Each department has this competition to change or

Repatha injections
Is anyone taking Repatha injections to lower cholesterol? . I had my first injection two weeks ago and within days I developed lower back pain. I know it is one of the side effects and believe me I’ve had them all!!! As I have to take the injection every two weeks, I wondered if the side effects continue

Lp(a) results are in ….
I’ve recently had bloods taken to test for FH and Lp(a) levels. I had a heart attack in 2022 at aged 51 and was started on a whole ton of medications afterwards including Atorvastatin 80mg and then a bit later adding in 10mg Ezetimibe. My LDL cholesterol has not been able to reach the target of 1.4

Statins! Oh the pain
Hi I have been on statins since having my HA in late August in Turkey on holiday. I was put on Turkish drugs and apart from fatigue I was fine on these. I have since been on Atorvstatin 80mg but I have suffered really badly with aching legs and arms. I spoke to GP and they changed me to a lower dose

Zanubrutinib and hair loss?
Hello and Happy Holidays to all! After almost 5 years post captivate trial, I will likely start Zanubrutinib in February or March. My specialist suggested taking Simvastatin in combination with Celebrex experimentally for a couple of months to see if my numbers remain stable. If not, then I will begin
