ZOLL LIFE VEST PATIENT EXPERIENCE
I lived at home with the ZLV for 4 weeks ZLV USER EXPERIENCE For me the “elephant “ in the room has been the weight of the transmitter and battery pack, at half-a-kilo I found it too heavy. ( pulling on my
shoulder
muscles increased discomfort and
pain
) The belt loop is sturdy but ineffective

My rheumy wants me off of prednisone as soon as possible
First of all, thanks to everyone who replied me, and gave me valuable advice on my previous post. This is an update. Previously, I mentioned that I wasn't happy with my first rheumy appointment as she thinks I don’t need steroids because my inflammation markers are in a normal range and this is not a

My Knees
So….. I have been unable to walk let alone run since I developed knee pain almost 2 weeks ago after completing week 1. I am now at the point where I can reduce the painkillers although the pain is still there I can tolerate it and ‘hobble’ around. I am unsure if I should try the C25K again in a week

A little late
I haven't been able to draw or paint for months -- just no inspiration, and a lack of faith in my own abilities. This week I bought a blending stump (eh?) and produced the attached, which I call Nature Red in Tooth and Paw. Sorry it's late for Off Topic Friday. On the Care Community side of things,

nagging Headaches plus UTI
hi all Been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, doctor thinks is because of a shock (my husband was in hospital for 7 months and lost both his legs). My question is. Does anyone else have a slight nagging headache. Nothing that is a major pain, just a nagging headache which pain killers cannot move Also

Ross procedure - left shoulder pain and sore neck muscles
Hi all, I had the Ross procedure on 8th June 2022 (my 3rd valve replacement surgery). Due to the complexity of the op, it took approx. 10 hours to complete. Naturally my neck muscles.. all of them and so fricken tight! And my left shoulder often feels very achey 😣 Does anyone think when I’m well

Advice required
I am still in a lot of
pain
, especially in my right arm and
shoulder
. My GP also explained that if this doesn’t work he will refer me to a Rheumatologist and would not recommend any further increases in case he has misdiagnosed me.

progesterone pill - pain and bleeding
Hi I’ve been aware I’ve had endo since 2016 when I was 35 and starting to try for a baby. My left ovary had a large cyst on it that had to be surgically removed. Other than that I was told I had mild endo at that point. It the took me a further three years to conceive (two failed ivf’s) and I naturally

Pernicious anaemia?
I am a 60 year old male leading a healthy, low stress lifestyle. I have never had any medical conditions (apart from a bout of pancreatitis a couple of years ago) and never been on any medications apart from the occasional pain killer or dose of antibiotics. I exercise and meditate daily. I don't drink

I am new here - Extreme Anxiety over my various health conditions and managing them
I have had Fibromyalgia and Sjogrens for about 11 years now which has been a huge struggle trying to manage these. I was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes not long after this. I also have mobility problems and am on quite a few various painkillers, along with various other medications. This all caused

DIO2 Polymorphism and self treatment help Update!
The lightening legs have gone completely but some muscle aches and ankle gripes remain,
shoulder
and back
pain
still linger. I think some of the back pain is due to severely weak (and energy less) core muscles.

Centralized chest pain. Feels like stent pain.
I went for a walk two days ago and when I slept that night I reinjured an old
shoulder
injury.Woke up the next morning and have had sharp centered
pain
in my chest that I can compare to the pain I felt a few days after having my stent. It's very short. One to two seconds long.
