W2R3 - BOOM!
I keep reading things about
shin
splints
and now I've got the fear. I didn't have any aches or pains during the run and my partner thinks I'm probably just being a bit paranoid. Any advice (read: reassurance) welcome.. Have a great evening all! X

week 9 day 2 - er, nope
I had to stop for a 20 second breather after 5 minutes and then again at 15 minutes, the bottom of my legs were burning (

I think), my lungs had fallen out a few minutes before and you know that fuzzy/tingly head you get when you over-exert yourself in the heat - yep, check.

Back in the game?
My
shin
splints
- if that's what it was - have been getting better and better during the week. Yesterday I had to do a fair bit of walking (pulling a suitcase behind me while on a business trip) and had no problems.

Is There a Connection Between MPN Treatment and Skin Cancer?
In this Ask the Expert segment, Patient Power community member, Peggy, wrote, “How strong of a connection is there between long-term use of Jakafi and non-melanoma skin cancer? Should a patient quit taking medication?” Dr. Naveen Pemmarju of MD Anderson Cancer Center responds with a discussion of a

Is Lyme Disease the reason for your endocrine (and other) problems?
Here is a personal comment from someone suffering from Lyme Disease. It goes some way to explaining how doctors and others can be confused into wrongly suspecting an endocrine disorder when in fact the culprit at the bottom of an individual's ill health can be something other than the obvious. It should

Athletes foot-ouch!
I'm loving running but not loving athletes foot which is causing a lot of pain between fourth and little toe on one foot. Any pressure from shoes at all on that toe is very painful and spooling running! Im trying some athletes foot powder but any other advice will be gratefully received!

My ankles are hugely swollen, I have large calluses on my big toes, and my heels split and really hurt.
This is my first post. Prior to this I have been a lurker. I feel embarrassed talking about my cancer with friends and family. People ask me how I am--or how I feel-- and I don't want to start. I don't want to be one of those people who is constantly whining about their health problems. I was diagnosed

This is being tested at MD Anderson to be used to alleviate CLL symptoms like fatigue and enlarged nodes. Results in 2018. Me and my football players neck would love this. Has any ever tries this? Virginia

I do have a history of
shin
splints
and cramps when I skate (I also play roller derby) which I have to stretch and work through, especially when it's cold. I'd love any advice from people who have had similar. Thanks in advance :-)

My husband keeps saying she has '

W4R3 done. Yippee but is lower back pain normal at this stage?
But is my back pain normal, like
shin
splints
(which fortunately I've been spared) or possibly something more serious? I read that W5 is a biggie and would so love to try it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Week 5 run 3... Second time success!
After a horrific first try of W5R3 with
shin
splints
, i rested for 4 days and went out again today and completed it!!! The relief of doing it was incredible and i ran at a decent pace until the final minute and a bit after Laura said '2 minutes to go'. So chuffed!

Shocked !!!
Hi everyone, just having a bit of a moan. Along with RA/PMR/DIABETES and dealing with the meds, I have had some sun damage skin on my face which was treated with liquid nitrogen back in 2010. This came back quite slowly and was treated last October by my GP with a cream. The problem came back again
