Milk spots?
My daughter is 5 months old and the last few weeks she gets these tiny red spots on her face (normally her nose) are these milk spots? Cause I've heard milk spots are white and fade quickly

Consolidation Run 1
For anyone struggling with pacing or
shin
splints
or anything I thoroughly recommend trying to find someone to run and chat with. Happy trails everyone!

A ramble about a run, consequences of, subsequent rest and another run!
Last Monday I did my first 10k, pb times etc. And of course I was super happy. 2 days later I had some aches that niggled and I felt I’d best not ignore them. I’d torn a calf muscle at Christmas and although not troublesome since, I was now definitely aware of its existence again as it felt really tight

Plantar fascitis & shin splints
Previous graduate then got so excited by running 30 mins started doing it all the time and paid for over doing it!! No exercise since end Jan as could barely walk - just starting walking then back in the program again from week 1! So please don't do too much once you graduate!!! Still build up slowly

Possible shin pain breakthrough
I have had a tough time with '
shin
splints
' and took the advice to slow up, practice more of a running shuffle, and rest if it got worse. I also got myself a sport physio. However, my pain eases up I pick my legs up more and actually run.

Can someone help figure out what the heck is going on with just my right foot?
Only for the past 3 or so years, my right foot subddenly is constantly peeling, cracking, and what looks similar to athletes foot with thick and rough skin.. but no athletes foot medication has ever improved the situation. My left foot (upper left corner photo) has had absolutely none of these symptoms

Week 1, run 1 done!
I’ve had lots of little niggles over the years (knees, hips and
shin
splints
) and I’ve always given up when I’ve been struggling with these in the past, so I’m wondering what’s the best way to gently keep going even if the niggles start up? Can’t let my 10 year old down!! Thanks

Stuck at Week 5, Run 1.
After originally just gone for it, and ploughed through to week 7
shin
splints
issue made me reconsider my approach. After some sports physio advice I had a rest, got myself a shin splint exercise programme, and finally got back into things about two weeks ago.

Ringworm
Hello, over the past few months I’ve been coming out in episodes of ringworm, I am a mixed martial artist so it can be common when doing jiu jitsu. However recently I have no training in nearly two months and I have had ring worm 3 times, I’m constantly changing my bedding so it’s clean, my towels everything

Week 9, Run 3 completed !
I can’t recommend enough that good running shoes make ALL the difference to performance and keep injury at bay, also I’ve been wearing lower leg compression footless socks as running years ago I got
shin
splints
, but not this time.

week 5 - bad shin splints but I don't want to give up? :(
After doing three runs here on concrete, I have horrible
shin
splints
. If I haven't stood up for a while then I have to limp, like in the mornings, it hurts loads and I have to hobble around. After walking around for a bit (I stand at work all day) or during my runs it's not too bad.

Misleading titles
Hello admin.. I just wondered if you should remove or have the title changed on the post regarding measles as without reading further it could be interpreted as downplaying measles? I could not post response as you had blocked replies but post still in place. Just a thought!

What to do after prolonged injury
Hi All, I’ve been benched due to
shin
splints
for about 2 months, clearly I don’t want to go out all guns blazing only to injure myself but I’m not sure what to do. I should say that I had graduated in November but I’m wondering whether I should start the c25k programme again or something else?

Measles topic
I was unable to edit my post. I was going to add: Chippysue, perhaps you are referring to rubella, the 3-day measles, as opposed to RUBEOLA, the more virulent and serious viral illness. Rubeola is a nasty and dangerous virus. People do die from it.

Phew! W9R1 done
I’ve suffered from
shin
splints
and am cautious of going any sort of speed downhill as this is when I seem to do some damage. Any suggestions on how to develop speed safely downhill?
