Seretide prescribed for copd, or not so... anymore?
When i was on
seretide
it worked well respiratory-wise and with no side-effects and so I would dearly love to know if it is still prescribed for copd, or just for asthma. I am sick and tired of fostair slavery!!! Does anyone have the knowlege?

High risk letters but is this correct?
The surgery changed helen to a
seretide
inhaler, and since then it's been brilliant her asthma is almost non existent. At the time she went in she did some breathing tests and the doctors said her lung capacity was that of an 80 year olds. Helen got a 12 week shielding letter.

Low temperature, asthmatic probably recovering from Covid
Take montelukast,
seretide
and ventolin but having very little effect. Last couple of days so breathless can't even wash or prepare food for myself. Gp started me on low dose steroids and a exputex type of bottle with antibiotics to start tomorrow. I forgot to tell her about my temperature.

My Asthma isn't controlled of recent. I am confused
My
seretide
and ventolin inhaler aren't suppressing my symptoms as it will on a normal day. I can't go out as a result of covid 19, does anyone else knows what can suppress it? I am based in Nigeria

Steroid Skin?
Since taking
Seretide
, I have developed very itchy, scaly & sore eczema type patches on my left hand and left leg. A bit of research shows that this could be caused by the steroids.

Received shielding letter, unsure why.
I ended up being put on Flutiform but to be honest it seems to work no better than the
Seretide
I was on previously in that I was already fine during the day and the night-time symptoms did not change. They are now getting better as I'm addressing the GERD. So...

Clarification on self isolation
Hi, I take a prescribed steroid
seretide
inhaler but there’s no clarity in whether this falls under the 12 week self isolation category. I’ve called my doctor and they are not giving any advice and I’ve not received any notice from the NHS.

What do the UK govt class as severe asthma?
Ive gone from Symbicort 100/6 to
Seretide
250 and montelukast in the last couple of months. My GP isn’t great and never explains the inhalers to me so I’m not sure which is stronger etc. And he never even explained what montelukast is and what it does...

Sore throat side effect
Hi all, I recently got a generic version of
Seretide
- usually I get the branded version. I’ve had an awful sore throat since switching. At first I thought I was ill but the rest of me feels fine and I have no other symptoms. It’s been consistently sore for about 2 weeks now.

Seretide v Fostair
Going to the GP today as I have found
Seretide
has become less effective to no effect in controlling my asthma which to be honest is being a bit bothersome of late.I have noticed more conversations regarding Fostair. Wondering what peoples experience is with this inhaler and any side effects?

Reliever spray without lactose - help please
Then after ten days the wheezing disappeared; after six months I came off my
Seretide
250. I later accidentally ate butter and the heavy wheezing and mucus was back. Turns out I have a delayed onset t-cell response to dairy (consultant confirmed).
