Laryngitis + inhalers
Although I'm now on
seretide
, my voice still isn't right, altho i was never a brilliant singer, now it's nearly impossible to get some notes, nothing comes out! Could it be the inhalers that are causing the laryngitis or just 1 of those things? Christine

Ventolin makes me sleepy
I was diagnosed last November and use
Seretide
which keeps things under control accept when I get a cold (like now). I use Ventolin sometimes but don't generally need it (judging by the other posts I guess I am very lucky).

Tripped up...
I was then changed from

Reducing Seretide
If it doesn't get worse should I come off the
Seretide
altogether and just stay on Singulair? I wouldn't mind but I've only been under control for less than two months!!

Fostair
I know we have had to give my Son huge doses of
seretide
before and had no probs but it's a different drug. I just wondered if any one else is on the same dose? My asthma has become severe and difficult after having swine flu last October.

Breathing advice on NHS
I suffer with Exercise Induced Asthma still despite being on
Seretide
and Singulair which are supposed to be Gold Standard meds for EIA. My normal every day symptoms have greatly improved now but exercise is still a problem.

Potassium supplements
I've mentioned it to the doc and he's swapped me from
Seretide
to Fostair - this has had no effect.

Just not right?
It is now generally under control using
Seretide
, but have come down with a virus and chest just doesn't feel right. I have stopped sleeping and peak flow is down, but actual cough isn't too bad.

Symbicort and G&T
Symbicort leaflet had no warning about taking alcohol so it was a surprise when, after my Friday night out and usual two G&Ts, I felt dizzy and unwell whereas ok with previous
seretide

London Marathon - Why I am doing it!
My medication has been changed to stop exercise induced wheeze to
Seretide
Inhalers which seem fantastic! My running took off and I started to train for the FLM in Dec 2006. Now it's 4 weeks away.

Oops!
I have thus totally missed both peakflow reading and
seretide
(2 puffs) at relevant time GMT. D'oh! Crossing fingers this will not affect me in the coming day which is only hours away now (even though I have this coughing cold that everyone has at the moment). Its only one 'go' missed after all.

Cost of asthma treatment in the UK
This is much better thanks to my treatment which is two doses of
Seretide
accuhaler twice daily. The problem is, I'm not familiar with the NHS system.
