I'm having problems with my medication and I'm also doubting the asthma diagnosis and was hoping for some advice. I've been really active my whole life, running, athletics, tennis; in my late 20s I started

I have been reading the posts mentioning Symbicort. I take Sprivia, Seretide and Ventolin. Does Symbicort replace Seritide ? Libby This post may come up twice I'm not sure that the first one went.

Inhaled steroids and blood
I waas diagnosed with asthma last year and have been on seretide 250/25 and singulair ever since. I have constant wheeze and sometimes bouts of paroxysmal coughing that produces gluey, thick, off-white mucus that seems to come from deep down. Last week, some of this was bloody - fresh at first and then

GP rationing my ventolin - very scared
Hi everyone, my name is Selina, and this is my first time posting on this forum. I'm 56, widowed, and have suffered rom severe asthma all my life, and more recently, COPD. Last month my GP drastically reduced my Ventolin inhalers from one a week to one every two weeks. He claimsI was over-using it.

Seretide
The last few prescriptions I have had for Seretide, the packaging on the inhaler has come from different countries i.e. Germany, France, Spain and today Norway. The inhaler and instructions look the same. Anyone know the reason? I forgot to ask the pharmacist today.
