Severely low serum magnesium is associated with increased risks of positive anti-thyroglobulin antibody and hypothyroidism
Abstract Trace elements, such as iodine and
selenium
, are closely related to autoimmune thyroiditis and thyroid function. Low serum magnesium is associated with several chronic diseases; however, its associations with autoimmune thyroiditis and thyroid function are unclear.

Off Synthroid...
Then I also supplemented with atioxidants...like this website recommended: vitamins A, C, E and
Selenium
along with B13 and vitamin D as well. But just like everything...it doesn’t last forever. This was great for about 3 weeks and then I started getting my hypothiroid symptoms back.

Rock bottom
On top of Thiroyd, D3 and K2 I take
Selenium
(which gives me the squits), Iodine (which is gross), B12, Pro biotic, Magnesium, Krill oil and also Modafinil for Narcolepsy and the contraceptive pill. 8 months later and I'm still struggling and not losing weight.

Blood Test Results - help please.
My folate, vit D and B12 levels are all good and I take
selenium
. My Endo has agreed to increase the Levo to 175mcg daily and as the T3 is low I am going to go ahead with this. I just wondered what your advice would be on this as I know people on here are so knowledgeable. Many thanks.

Excessive sweating
I have Hashimoto and am currently on 100mcg levothyroxine, taking 5000 vit D and supplements (
selenium
NAC DETOX, folic acid and turmeric). After the slightest exertion, literally just doing a bit of vacuuming I have sweat pouring down my face. Is this normal?

Should I push for a dose increase?
However, both he and my GP are concerned about low TSH despite me trying to suggest that perhaps it’s not that important) I supplement, thanks to advice on here, with
selenium
, D3, B group multi, magnesium, zinc, calcium, Vit C and iron, following all the advice for timings of supplements versus meds

Selenium
appears to be protective of the prostate when cadmium is present. It appears that
selenium
& cadmium form a complex. This inactivates the
selenium
, so a greater intake of
selenium
might be required for optimum benefit.

Supplements advice.
Hi, I’m currently supplementing vitamin D3, K2, magnesium citrate and
selenium
+zinc. I take my levothyroxine in the morning. Then I take vitamin D3 and K2 after my lunch. For magnesium citrate, I take it after my dinner. I just wonder when is the best/right time to take my
selenium
+ zinc ?

selenium
(1 tab) B Complex (1 tab) Vit D , K2 Mk 7 (2 tabs) Cranberry ( 1 huge tablet, more like a horse pill!) to ward off UTI, high vit C Magnesium (Usually take this before bed) Co Q10 I would prefer to take them in as few doses as possible or I may end up getting very muddled.
