Bone Marrow biopsy
I haven't posted before but thought I'd try to prevent those people about to have a bone marrow biopsy from worrying ! I'm seen by Dr. Paul Smith at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital and have been on watch and wait since diagnosis of CLL in July 2013. I have regular 6 monthly blood check ups and at my last

Painful lump under c-section scar
Hi, I'm not sure if anybody may have experienced something similar, I had a section almost 2 years ago now. It healed fine and has caused me no issues. The past week it had become increasingly tender and the little pouch of fat/skin above it (that I just cannot get rid of!) seems tense or bulgey if

Anyone decided not to have a laparoscopy and go straight ahead with treatment/pain relief?
I saw a specialist yesterday and after examination, he said he could feel some scar tissue which he thinks is almost definitely endometriosis. He recommended a lap but said that the decision is obviously mine. I suffer from pain during the first half of my cycle only. I really don't want to have an operation

Marathon training progress report
This has always been a biggie for me as Paris ( my marathon last year) left me with some emotional
scars
. I did it in DEVON on a route I haven't done before. Handy as the road was closed so I had free panthering reign which was fab.

Why do my lips look like this? (peeling, chapped, cracked)
For as many years back as I remember my lips have been in a constant state of chapped, peeling, sore rough and cracked. It's very embarrassing and ugly, i am in constant worry about how they look when im out and about. I've tried all kinds of balms and remedies but nothing has helped much. I usually

Weird eczema scars
Because of the scratching and bleeding and so on she had many
scars
We were just worried because her
scars
are dark brown in colour and most of the time blister up and peel off making the "scar" bleed again.

Is it me or what ?
He has put me in hospital and I him he has
scars
and I had to stay in hospital for a badly twisted hip. We both cannot afford to go to prison for a few reasons mainly losing our home and huge cuts to out incomes. He also gets more money than me because I have a car and bills to pay for.

Chronic rejection
Hi, new to this group. My daughter is almost 13, 6 years post transplant and now deemed as being in chronic rejection. There's talk that if blood results continue to rise, particularly billurubin levels they may consider retransplantation. Has anyone had their child go through chronic rejection and

Ulcerative Colitis
Pleased to say after the 3rd operation she is back to school, no colostomy bag, toilet as normal, and few small
scars
from the key hole operation. Thank you to the NHS in Devon, they were wonderful and we endeavour to help out the crohns and colitis charities as much as possible

Total LAVH hysterectomy with adhesiolysis - still in pain
I have pelvic pain (deep, sickening pain - not to do with the
scars
) and now lower back pain. I have been cuddling my hot water bottle 24/7. After the 6 months of respite on Zoladex this is making me very concerned and low. It's bringing back bad memories!

Pleural rub
Hi. I had a Pleurodesis using Talc when I was 16, I am now 37 and have been having these symptoms, which I can only describe as Pleural Rub, on and off for about 10 years. I was just wondering if anyone else, who has had a similar operation, are experiencing the same thing? Thanks,

Skin graft.
I suffer from skin cancer, and yesterday I had a biopsy taken from a growth on my forehead, it's the size of a 50p piece, I fully expect that this will have to be removed, but my question is I do not want to have a skin graft, I am 72yrs old and no oil painting the fact that I will have a scar after

IUI and chlomid
I have been TTC for over a year now and had dye test done which showed my tubes are fine but had adhesion
scars
from previous op. Everything was looking good but I still didn't fall pregnant. This month is going to be my first iui session along with chlomid and injections.

Paraffin wax
Hi all, Can anyone recommend a good paraffin wax machine to use as a form of therapy? I have been told that it can help with pain and swelling and provide some comfort.
