LAMP test for SARS-CoV-2 being Piloted in UK Hospitals and students to reduce asymptomatic transmission.
"A technical and clinical evaluation has confirmed OptiGene RT-LAMP tests to be accurate and sensitive enough to be used for COVID-19 testing, including for those without symptoms." Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a single-tube technique for the amplification of DNA and a low-cost, rapid

Tuberculosis is the forgotten pandemic relying on a 100-year-old vaccine.
And COVID is caused by
SARS
-CoV-2, a virus. They’re quite different microorganisms. But it’s easy for them to overlap in people’s minds. Both TB and COVID are infectious diseases that generally affect the lungs.

French research on the most grave Covid
Since the emergence of
Sars
-CoV-2, researchers have been trying to understand these differences. Last week, two new studies confirmed what initial work had established in October 2020: a large proportion of severe forms are explained by a genetic or immunological abnormality.

IBS and the COVID vaccine
We are not aware of any data to suggest that the vaccination against
SARS
-CoV-2 (the virus causing COVID-19, the disease) causes a relapse of known IBS. All drugs or chemicals cause side effects. It would be most unwise to avoid the vaccine.

Synarel and Utovlan together? - your experiences please!
Hi there, Does anyone have any experiences taking Synarel and Utovlan together. I've been on Synarel a month(along with Livial) but am still having periods. My wedding is in 3 weeks so my consultant has advised I can take Utovlan a week before to stop the bleeding on the day. I'm just a tad worried
