My story- It may not be all rosy but it is as it is
SO much stuff, boxes of fluid, caps, gauze,
saline
, a heater, clamps etc but I managed to fit most of it in one cupboard. Work had kindly arranged for the first aid room to be available to me every lunchtime and so one bag before work, one at lunchtime and two in the evening and that was me done.

Sore Nose
I get a slight relief from using Boots
saline
nasal spray but the relief isn't long lasting. My nose seems permanently blocked with dried blood and mucous. If you have any suggestions I'd be truly grateful :-(.

So it looks like we continue as we are doing treating the infections as they occur get the treatment started - anti fungals and
saline
through the nebuliser, get the blood gases checked and 02 increased as I am not managing walking around on just the 2L then back to work ha ha.

my husband has continual breathing difficulties. Has anyone any advice on what treatments help, especially with the agitation and distress.
We already use Carbocystene, Salbutamol and
saline
nebules in the nebuliser and Oxazipine tablets when the distress gets really bad.

How my story started
I began to cry, she said sharply “stop crying it’s only
saline
”. I tried to get it out of my eyes and she told me “to stop being so silly”. I started to cry again, I felt vulnerable and there was nothing I could do, and no one to help me.

My experience of anti-tnf
Then a quick
saline
drip to make sure that we use all the precious infliximab up, more obs and then you’re free. The impact of the anti-tnf has varied over the ten years I’ve been having it. It took a few treatments to kick in.

Sjogrens-just how dry can your mouth get?
I've long been diagnosed with Hughes and the man himself added mild Sjogrens a few years ago. At that time I was having dry eye problems and I have artificial tears for this. For quite some time now I've been having problems with a very dry mouth and throat which sometimes leads to great difficulty just

which hospital
We use it more frequently with
saline
nebs - once he's had 2 salbutamol nebs he goes to the ward so they can monitor his potassium and heart . Ok this is a bit self pitying. Sorry. Margot

Saline Nebs
When my asthma is bad (chest infection and bringing up loads of stuff), I sometimes try using
saline
solution (salt water) in my nebuliser. I find this cuts through the gunk in my lungs and helps my cough it up. Medically, it doesn't have any effects. I does make you thirsty as hell.

Yucky subcut site
I have been cleaning it with
saline
then dressing it with mepitel, mepilex and then mefix. I thought the mepitel would help it not stick to the mepilex as its very weepy, but when I take the dressing of it just starts weeping again. It's impossible to keep dry too.
