Help! Running with flat feet
🤯 The reason for my post is, I figured I can’t be the only late 40’s person
running
with flat feet, and wondered if you all knew of and/ or could recommend some
running
trainers with a good instep support?

C25K completed :-)
Is it good enough to continue
running
5k 3 times a week or should I increase distance? Motivational tips would also be greatly appreciated 😃

Finished
Couch to 5K finished, I started on 11th August finishing my last run on Saturday 29th whilst
running
my 3rd park run in 34 minutes and 12 seconds, who would have thought it, I remember those first runs ( what a killer) anybody starting or still trying to complete their runs, if I can do it so can you

Paused due to covid
I don't feel up for
running
tomorrow and like to start weeks off on Monday. So do I do some light walking and restart week 7 the following Monday? Or start from an earlier week for example where there's more walking involved?

so here I am again 🎶 😄🏃🏻♀️🐌🍁
it’s been a while… Stuff happening (nothing major)…weather too hot, too wet…maximum faffage… …anyway, no serious
running
for a few months, but yesterday I awake to a sunny autumn equinox, and decided it was a sign that it was time to reawaken my
running
mojo… So what do you do?

Week 6 was hard!
I love it when I realise I've been thinking about something else (not
running
) while still
running
. I'm holding on to those breakthroughs! The right playlist is essential and it'd be great to hear what gives other people's legs wings. Because I run so slowly, tracks with 75-85bpm are perfect.

Racking up those parkruns, following a phase of running anxiety
I started
running
seriously back in January 2022, and since about 6 weeks ago I would never dream of actually
running
outside away from they safety of a treadmill.

Was it really 3 years ago?
3 years older since my last run and having had my 59th birthday in March, on Wednesday my feet started to almost itch to get my
running
shoes back on and so I’m back on week 1 with 2 runs down.

Curry on Running!
Maybe they’ll then say the best time to go and run hard when all the flies are out so you swallow them as you’re
running
along. At that point you can officially call them a wazzock. Well, this wazzock had a great time!

4.5K Rainy Intervals Run 🌧️👍
I wasn’t looking forward to
running
this morning. The forecast was rain and although it’s milder than the last few days, I enjoyed
running
in the cold on Saturday. Rain is not my friend.

Along with diet and
running
over the last 3 months I've lost 10 KGs and want to lose another 10 and get that blood glucose level down. I kind of remember, or thought i did, that there was a NHS 5 to 10K podcast? If there is I can't find it or maybe I dreamt it? 🤷♂️

Back after 3 weeks
Hello
running
buddies. It’s been about 3 weeks since I posted here. First, an energetic (but no
running
!) week away with my twin, 12 year old grandsons, then a sore foot (feels like I’ve got a marble under the ball of my foot) and then another impromptu trip away in the motorhome.
