Hi just to update
The
Rotigotine
patches and Pregabalin consultant put me on in April just weren’t working and sadly I had to go back on Pramipexol which I’d worked so hard to come off since last August. I’m now on 3 tablets of Pramipexol instead of the 5 I’d taken for years prior to last August.

Why does the majority on here feel getting an iron infusion is horrible??? Have you ever had one??? I have and they are not bad!!!
I wear a 24 hour patch for my RLS called Neupro (
rotigotine
transdermal system). Works great!! It’s one thing if you had a bad reaction from an infusion, but u shouldn’t be here scaring those who could benefit from an infusion if you never had an iron infusion!!

Debilitating RLS
He was put on
Rotigotine
by Prf Chaudri and whilst it was helpful/is helpful, I'm not hugely certain if its really doing that much anymore. Any advice or guidance really truly appreciated.

Any scientific papers on DAWS (Dopamine Agonist Withdrawal Syndrome) and/or withdrawing off or tapering down dopamine agonists?
I had an appointment with my neurologist last week and finally convinced her that I should try reducing my
Rotigotine
(Neupro patch) medication (currently at 4mg). However, I am not happy with her suggestion/recommendation that I just drop down to 3mg patches.

RLS symptoms spreading
I started taking ropinirole up to 4mg then
Rotigotine
and clonazepam since. Episodes of RLS randomly occur affecting my whole body and resulting in sleeplessness, but drowsiness and fatigue during the day. Acupuncture and massage have provided temporary relief from symptoms.

Rotigotine patch
He ruled out Parkinson's and peripheral neuropathy after examining me... he suggested
Rotigotine
patch.. I've resisted drugs so far.. 10 years+... As didn't want augmentation nor nasty day time side effects... Could anyone help me with advice or comments please.. Thank you Janland

Severe rls
The last time I spoke to my neurologist she suggested
Rotigotine
patches or ropinirole tablets but I refused because of my fears of augmentation I now am thinking maybe I should go down that road but with caution I do need help with deciding I currently take 150gm on Pregabalin and 60gm codeine nightly

Ecopipam and Dr. Ondo.
The main dopaminergic RLS medications (pramipexole, ropinirole,
rotigotine
and L-dopa) all mostly stimulate D2/3 receptors, but also stimulate D1 receptors to a lesser degree, especially L-dopa. We previously developed an animal model of RLS in mice and rats.
