New to the group (not at all new to CLL!). Thought I'd say hello...
As this is a public forum, I don't want to go into specifics about how I did it (you can PM me if you wanna know), but I took steps to reduce the side effects of the chemo (I didn't know very much about
Rituximab
or Fludarabine but I'd heard about Cyclophosphamide and I knew enough to know that it was

How should I feel.
I've had two infusions of
Rituximab
the second being on the 12th January this year. I know it takes up to 16 weeks to notice a difference but I am just wondering how I know it is working? I still have aches and my arms, shoulders and hands are still sore. Knees ache as well as being stiff.

Worried about the numbers about to start FCR
Hello, After optimistically signing up to the FLAIR trial last week, we got the call yesterday to say Mum had been randomised to receive FCR which was a little disappointing. Rituximab
Hi all Our 13 year old daughter starts with
Rituximab
on Tuesday. For the regular contributors to the forum you may recall that she had an incredible response to Prednisolone with a jump from 19 to 208 in the first week then to crash back down and remain low again.

FCR selected
I've been randomly selected for Flair trial with FCR starting 11/4. I have to have chemo orally first of all as my white count is high and needs to be below 100 before I can have intravenously. I feel disappointed but not sure why. I think it's because my consultant and nurses have spoken since treatment

Hair loss
I have appointment today to find out which arm I will be on for FLAIR trial and I'm afraid a fit of vanity has gripped me. I wondered can anyone give me any details regarding hair loss with FCR or Ibrutinin/Rituxamab.

Reaction to Rituximab
A few months ago I had quite a severe flare and was put forward for a
Rituximab
infusion. The first infusion went perfectly fine however two weeks later was a different story.

Hi everyone, just been given irradiated transfusion owing to aenemia. Was told that because I had fluradabin years ago that this is the procedure. Does FCR contain fluradabin.?

2nd bout with Lymphoma - starting Bendeka, a new Bendamustine formulation
Starting Bendeka +
rituximab
+ allopurinol tomorrow morning. Today is Sunday and I forgot to ask my oncologist if I should start the allopurinol the day before, or the day starting chemo. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Blood clots after chemo?
I completed 5 months of FCR in September. This was a difficult period but successful and I returned to work after a 2 month recuperation. I was slowly recovering strength and even started light workouts. Then 3 weeks ago I had terrible pain in my flank and went to the ER. Diagnosed with lung embolisms

Sugars up following steroid infusions and Christmas
I'm trying to get on top of my blood sugars after two steroid infusions in December (connected to
rituximab
for my RA) and carelessness over Christmas. I'm sticking to my normal meds, but trying to radically control my diet following online advice from Diabetes UK.
