Everytime I get a Covid shot I get a painful Lupus Flare- up for 4 to 5 months . In the 30 years of having Lupus I have never been so sick as since I have been taking Covid shots . I am thinking I will wait at least 1 year , if not longer for another one .

Covid and flu vaccination ?
Tomorrow I am due for both a covid and flu vaccination. I received a letter from the health authorities and I was offered both as I have the relevant health issues. This is the first time I fall in this category, even when taking pred. and being in the hospital for 5 days with asthma attack (covid) in

Chronic endometritis
Hey lovely ladies! My question today related to endometritis/chronic uterine inflammation. I have done 4 hysteroscopies so far (two in 2021, one in 2022, one in 2023), each time the inflamed endometrium came out, with a "strawberry" appearance. After the tests, I came out positive for Ureaplasma (at

PBC and nails / gel polish / acrylic
hi everyone, just a quick question.. I wondered has anyone had any issues with having their nails done with gel polish. I had to switch from gel polish to acrylic as my nails kept having a reaction to the gel - and often developed a fungal infection. Once I switched to acrylic they were much better

Restarting RA meds after having Covid

GCA-Lyme Disease Connection?
Hi all, My wife is a long-time Lyme Disease sufferer, and has recently had a consultation with a biologist/pathologist. This person takes a blood sample and then looks at it under the microscope while the patient is present -- and then comments on what has been seen. My wife had the classic signs

Covid - Beware Getting Treatment - Don’t Test Positive on a Friday - Some Answers
Well I said I would update you all regarding the ordeal I had had regarding my previous posts on this subject. Don’t want to bore you all but some may be interested in what I have managed to find out. I laid out to the NHS what I needed answers to and what they were doing about it to prevent it happening

PMR & COVID Vaccine Link?
In another thread which I began on a different subject, the possibility of a link between PMR and COVID vaccine came up. In that thread, for the first time I saw something other than idle speculation that the vaccine and PMR might be l inked: A study published[u] in the journal Rheumatology

My GCA Update
I just got done with my MRIs and MRAs, so we’ll see if results show much. My blood test came back with sed rate normal (always has been) and C-reactive prrotein headed down. It went from normal in PMR, to 1.3 and then 2.0 in GCA. Now at 0.8, so barely high and heading in the right direction. Still feeling

Beta Alanine: STOPS or STARTS itch?
Considering trying Beta Alanine to stop my PV itch, but every time I Google what makes it STOP itch (i.e., how does it work?), all I come up with are articles that say it STARTS itch! Did anyone w/ PV, AP, etc. have their itch actually intensify by taking BA? Also curious if anyone happens to know
