Vitamins and supplements
Some advice needed about the timings of taking vitamins, supplements and how they might react with prescribed drugs. The prescribed meds I take daily are 2 x 200mg Hydroxy, 2 x 30mg Lanzoprazole, 2 x Adcal-D3. I've been having loads of GI problems since my cholecystectomy last year (bile reflux as well

Post radical prostatectomy incontinence - Sling vs Artificial Urinary Sphincter Device
Does anyone have any insight in an AdVance Sling or Artificial Urinary Sphincter Device for urinary incontinence after a
radical
prostatectomy
? I had previously had open inguinal hernia surgery and believe I had read that the Sling is not as effective after this surgery.

New to site. Diagnosed at 50.
Had
Radical
Prostatectomy
on Feb 17, 2016. Decipher Test showed high risk of recurrence so had 38 treatments of radiation 6 months after surgery. Finished radiation 11/1/16. IMRT. No detectable PSA since surgery. Now I go in every 3 months.

Hi guys. I am a 67 year old guy in decent shape and pretty healthy overall. My cancer was organ-confined. Gleason 7. Negative margins. Had my robotic nerve-sparing prostatectomy end of November. I need some input on others' experience on incontinence. The first week after catheter removal was

Fibromyalgia and nausea and pain
I am so tired. Matthew ended up in hospital with a gall stone the size of a peach pit, he's home now but they're going to set him up for surgery. I was stupid and shoveled some snow before I knew I'd be walking to and from the hospital tonight. Hands and shoulders hurt most but my last CRP was normal

Local therapy in patients with newly diagnosed oligometastatic prostate cancer
My
radical

of 12 years ago would not have occurred if there were metastases. Nowadays, there seems to be an increasing view that debulking has benefit.

DXA scan
Having had PMR for 4.5 years and having taken Pred in lowering doses, (together with Alendronic Acid once per week and ADCAL twice a day since that time), I spoke to my Rheumy about having a DXA scan, as I had never had one. He organised the scan at my local hospital last week. The scan was very

RLS - withdrawal from ropinirole
Hello all, I am brand new to this forum, so,happy to have found others like me. I have had RLS for many years and never knew that it was a condition. I thought it was just poor sleeping habits. I had been taking miraplex for a few years but it never really worked. So the neurologist added gabapentin

Anyone tried medical cannabis for their RLS?
Hi all, Have been vaporizing street cannabis for the last week. Been very effective, however I know at the back of my mind that using the same strain over and over will eventually have less of an effect. Wondering if anyone has experience with medical cannabis, and whether or not it's possible to alternate

Artificial Urinary Sphincter ~ Post-op
Hi folks. I'm 13 months past my Prostatectomy. in spite of doing all the required Kegel Exercises I'm still pretty much 100 % incontinent ... getting through between 2 to 4 pads per day. ED is making slow positive progress .... The Vacuum Pump works well but isn't exactly "spur of the moment" The Cialis

Hemp oil
Hello good folks. I seen my gp yesterday and discussed the hemp oil. She said she knew nothing about it and it's still illegal is Ireland. She kindly phoned the pharmacist who said no it's not available and health food supplements hemp oil would not have any effect. She said it would only be a placebo
