I can’t it up after vasectomy
I am disappointed after vasectomy, I seem to suffer from sexual dysfunction. Its been 4 months since I had vasectomy I have not had real sex, I am embarrassed, disappointed and feel hopeless in that I can’t satisfy my wife anymore, what should I do?

ADENOMYOSIS PAIN help
Doctor thinks I have Adenomyosis too, I am 44, 1 vaginal birth, tubal ligation and Novasure Endometrial Ablation in 2015. I had the ablation due to heavy abnormal bleeding. I have not had a period since then, which is great, BUT this pain that I have been experiencing the past year for up to 2 weeks

Grateful for this Forum (continued)
Other info I've learned on this forum, for which I'm grateful: I refused a prescription for a dopamine agonist and tossed out a prescription for Wellbutrin after what I've read on here about augmentation AND other research, which suggested that Wellbutrin can increase insomnia---the very last thing this

GCA helpful information (I hope).
17 months after I first had GCA symptoms , I thought it might be helpful to share/ summarise some useful information that I (and my GP!) have picked up in the meantime. 1 DIAGNOSIS: the recommendations are that if you have visual symptoms, you go straight on to 60 mg daily of steroids ( Prednisolone

Robot‐assisted radical prostatectomy [RARP] experience.
New study. I had open surgery 14 years ago. When RARP became more available I believe that it was oversold to patients, in the sense that experience was lacking. I kept reading that it took a lot of operations to become proficient. My friend & neighbor Jim rushed into RARP & his first day home woke

Ovary removal
Hi I had cervical cancer 10 years ago and kept my ovaries. Next week I’m getting one out as it’s attached to bowel and I get cysts on it..about 6 a year. I had a cyst removed 7 years ago and remember the pain being just as bad as the radical hysterectomy. Anyone had ovary removed recently? Just wondering

Estradiol & PCa.
New French study. Nalakrats will get a kick out of this one. "Our objective was to assess the concentration levels of sex steroids in prostatic tissue and serum, in two cohorts of patients with localized PCa or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)." "The levels of Total Testosterone (TT), Di-Hydro-Testosterone

Joint pain from Zytiga - how are you managing?
My husband has joint pain from Zytiga - his current regimen is not 100% helpful. He does #1 and 2 every day and the rest as needed. Would love to know how you are coping. Currently: 1) Medical Marijuana (Oil) - he won't take too much though as he doesn't like to be passed out. 2) Biomat 3) CBD

CBD Oil effective for pain
I want to alert everyone to CBD oil which is very effective for pain management. CBD oil is legal in all 50 states! CBD is cannabidiol oil, one of many components of cannabis. CBD oil is anti-inflammatory, all natural and has almost no THC, the hallucinogenic compound of marijuana. It has NO SIDE

Methotrexate/medical marijuana
I’ve been on methotrexate for over a year, and Humira for about 5 months. I’m also on an antidepressant. I have just started to feel the worst nausea and stomach discomfort and it seems like after I take my dose of MTX. I was on 10 tablets weekly and was just switched to 5 after complaining of the nausea

Finally an improvement.
It is now over 8 years since I had a total Gastrectomy and finally I'm enjoying my food with no ill effects. Gone is the dumping syndrome, reflux etc. Now I'm concentrating on regaining lost weight. My early morning breakfast consists of a half can of baked beans washed down with a cup of coffee. I'm

Medical Cannabis
Does anyone feel that writing to Sajid Javid would be helpful in putting the case of RLS patients to the fore regarding prescriptions for medical cannabis? Actually I have written an email a few days ago but not had an answer so far. Just wondered if a pile of emails from people suffering this horrendous

Pay attention to your nipples! They might be trying to tell you something.
I had noticed for some time that one nipple was dry and scaley, then one day I had a milky discharge - like dried oatmeal! I washed it off, but the next day, my nipple stuck to my bra and it started bleeding. I went to a walk-in clinic, and they gave me a treatment but also told me to make an appointment

Back/heart spasm and pain
Saw post from Daisy chain and understand how these things can be worrying. Last week I was away on a study break and experienced quite severe pains running from my skull all way down my back. The odd thing is that the pain pulses like my heartbeat. It is excrutiating and I’m bent double until it’s over

Serous Low Grade Ovarian Carcinoma -treatment options
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with serous low grade ovarian carcinoma stage 3C December 2017 and had a radical hysterectomy with debulking. I had researched treatment options and learned that chemo has little effect on the type of of cancer that I have, consequently I did not take chemo. My oncologist

PMR/Osteoporosis Update
Hello everyone I have not posted much in the past month since the added Osteoporosis diagnosis but have also been away for a few weeks. The sunshine certainly helped me mentally and I now feel able to cope with the additional diagnosis. Came back from holiday to a letter from my Rheumatologist advising

Breast Cancer ER/PR+ HER2- Grade3 Stage 3B
I finished chemo in May. Had two unsuccessful lumpectomy surgeries and then a nonskin sparing mastectomy, no reconstruction . Now I’m getting ready for radiation therapy. I am also looking beyond RT and next steps. Any resources or tips?
