Few quick questions if anyone would be kind enough to reply
Hi, Doc has prescribed Adcal-D3 tablets. twice daily. says on the packet each tablet contains 1500mg calcium carbonate (=600mg calcium) and 400 I.U. cholecalciferol (=10 mg vitamin D3). and yet ive noticed some people on here are taking far more than that. Is this the correct dose? and why would

Full Hysterectomy with Ovary Removal and Stoma
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with Endo after failed fertility treatment three years ago at the age of 39. After numerous scans, laparoscopy, MRI and sigmoidoscopy, the option suggested is a full hysterectomy with ovary removal and sigmoid colon resection due to scar tissue thickening a portion of it.

Refused surgery!!! Help!
Hello ladies, I haven't posted on here before but have been reading and following for sometime. It seems to be the only place to find advice, reassurance and positive stories as Google is the complete opposite. My Mum (73) was taken into A&E in June 2020 with heavy post menopausal bleeding; had ultrasound

Hysterectomy & ovary removal - what do you wish you'd known first?
Hi, Thinking about surgery, the consultant explained to me that my options might range from removing the endo lesions and restoring of anatomy position, to total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (removal of the uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and ovaries). I still need an MRI scan to

Having ovaries removed
Hi all, I wondered if anyone hear had a hysterectomy but kept their ovaries and then had their ovaries removed at a later date? I'm wondering what the difference was in the pain levels once they were removed. Was it worth it? Pros and cons etc Thanks xx

Endo after hysterectomy
I had a total hysterectomy and removal of ovaries and tubes 4 years ago. I’m in constant severe pain. I have 8 laxido a day, still backed up. My hips are stiff. I have back/groin/leg pain. Vomiting. Bowel obstruction symptoms and so tired! Anyone familiar with this? Is it endo? How to get help when no

Advice please on Thyroid Blood Test Results
Hello, this is my first post and I'd really appreciate some help with my blood test results. I apologise in advance for the long post! I’ve had hypothyroidism symptoms for as long as I can remember. Reluctantly my GP agreed for me to try 25mg Levothyroxine about 6 years ago (I think to shut me up!)

Any experiences of full or partial hysterectomy?
Hi all I’m new to the forum and wondered if there’s anyone who has had a full or partial hysterectomy who is open to sharing their experiences? I’ve had endometriosis for the past 20 years and have had two previous surgeries. The coil gave me a few years break from the symptoms but they have since worsened

Pre op for hysterectomy bmi too high?
Hi ladies, I have my pre op for my hysterectomy on Monday and I read the other day that some hospitals will refuse you if you have a bmi that is too high. I’m panicking because I used to have a bmi of around 33, but since I’ve gotten really bad with adenomyosis, I have nerves that are trapped and can

Has anyone suffered with pain after hysterectomy and ovaries removed?
Hi warriors, Any advice or experiences would be much appreciated. I had a total hysterectomy in July 2018, left ovaries in due to age. After 3 months the pain was back, so in November 2019 had returned endo removed plus both ovaries. Given Tibolone for menopause and only suffered with hot flushes. Unfortunately

MRI scan - how much did it influence your surgery decision?
Hi, I'm in line for an MRI scan for endo. I have stage IV endo, which was diagnosed by laparoscopy. In my first appointment, the consultant (BSGE approved endo centre) talked about surgery options ranging from clearance with total hysterectomy and endo removal to simple restoration of pelvic anatomy

CBD OIL
If anyone has had results with CBD Oil for RLS I would greatly appreciate hearing which one as I cannot get medical cannabis in the UK, which I know would help considerably. As there are so many CBD products out there it is a minefield, so if anyone can recommend some I would much appreciate it.
