Night sweats again
Hi all, I have reviewed many posts for answers on this but symptoms and underlying issues are variable and so posts are inconclusive. I have SLE and Sjogrens. I also have drenching night sweats. Here's my summary: 1) I'm male, so they're not menopausal! 2) My medication has been stable for years: Hydroxychloroquine

How has complete hysterectomy with ovaries removed also (or natural menopause) affected your symptoms?
Thank you very much, ladies. I hope everyone is having a pain free day

looking for advice for RLS
Hi everyone, I am new here. Hoping to find relief for my RLS. I am located in the US. A bit of history, I’ve had RLS since about 2017. Started off moderate and was using cannabis for relief. Over time, symptoms got worse and smoking cannabis wasn’t working well. I then tried Kratom and got good relief

coming off rotigotine patches
Hello, First post… Could someone please share their experience coming off rotigotine patches, and what helped you throughout this experience? Been on rotigotine for 4 or so years, and more recently started experiencing augmentation. Was on 2mg, in August GP suggested increasing to 3mg but that hardly

Reviewing my final Path report, post RP
A friend tipped me to this site AFTER my RP. (I'd read everything my surgeon gave me, plus googled a ton of stuff, none of which made any sense to me. My MD GF, GP, and surgeon all strongly pushed RP, so I did it.) I've learned more on this site in 9 mos than I did with all the above in a year. Thank

zoladex hasn’t worked?
I’m in my second month of zoladex 3.6 (while I wait for hysterectomy date) When I had my first one I experienced more pain then normal and still had bleeding, I’m lead to believe this is fairly common for the first time. Had my second one and started with my tibolone and again 7-10 days later pain

prostap injections
Hi all, I had my first prostap injection 6 weeks ago and my second injection two weeks ago to help with pain - I’m 33 and my consultant is reluctant to do another lap yet and won’t discuss a hysterectomy until this course of prostap is completed. Initially it felt like the pain was minimising (maybe

Treatment after Zoladex/Prostrap
I’m due to go back to the consultant next week and I’m just wondering what your experiences were a) coming off Zoladex/prostrap and b) what treatment options are next. For context I have been on the injections for 11 months now, and HRT for the past 5 months. I know everyone’s experiences have been different

Endo diet and bowel symptoms
I'm currently trying to deal with a return of bowel symptoms which most like seem to be due to bowel endo (I have a RV lesion plus a second nodule on the bowel). I've had a hysterectomy and oophorectomy and have already had excision. I had an MRI earlier this year which showed adhesions between the rectum

HRT / zolodex / hormone treatment help
Hi all. I posted recently about my concerns regarding zolodex etc. I think my only next steps is a complete hysterectomy due to my issues. HOWEVER. That being said, everyone seems to manage better withHRT and I'm looking to speak with people who have never been able to tolerate any form of hormone treatment

Well, it's been a while. A very very long while. So for a little update within the last 4 years that I think I last posted I have had a baby 🫣😨. About 19 months old now. A welcomed surprise shall we say. Didn't even think it was possible, but hey, our bodies always do their own thing. I had a (symptoms

Hope at last
Hi well after five years of suffering with the most intense burning, agitation, painful genitalia, lack of sleep I finally have a diagnosis of neuropathy. I was referred to a Gynaecologist and after a month received a letter saying there would be a two year wait just to be seen. We decided that I should

surgical menopause
hi! What are your thoughts on including progesterone in your hrt regime if you are in surgical menopause and previously had severe endo? My hysterectomy included endo excision by an endo specialist. Is it necessary?

About to have surgery finally...
Hello, I'm new here after being redirected here by the NHS site. Here's a basic back story on me... I had 2 children very young and very close together (18+19 both in August in 2008 and 2009) the second was a very traumatic birth that left me very badly affected. I was diagnosed with a prolapse after

How to cancel social events
Hi ladies. Hope your flare free.I'm looking for advice on social events. I know this is so minor in comparison to other issues, but I'm really struggling. I'm currently waiting on my 3rd surgery for hysterectomy and bowel resection. My life is tough at the moment holding down a stressful full time job
