Red Light Therapy - Feedback/discussion
Have been doing Red Light Therapy for my mother since 45 days. Make her wear a hat fitted with red light (670nm wavelength) for 20 minutes, immediately followed by near infra-red light (850nm wavelength) for another 20 minutes, totally for 40 minutes in a session - once in the morning and then once

As I was reading through the instructions it says that the mask is not to be used by thyroid patients. I’m not sure how much credence to give to this as the leaflets

Spider veins on face
Does anyone know how to help broken capillaries (spider veins) on the face? I’ve seen light therapy pens for at home treatment but I don’t want to buy something if it won’t work.

Alternative therapies: what I've learned
I've been on the PMR journey since 2014, and the pred episode since 2015. In that time I've also had an osteoporosis scare. Blue light therapy
Hi, someone put on about this the other day, and I was wondering if you had done any more about it? I can't find it now! I googled it, but all it seemed to say was that it was for acne and other skin complaints. Also SAD, that people get in the winter. does anyone know if it helps with a brain injury

Cholestyramine (Questran) for Bile Acid Malabsorption
I am having difficulty obtaining
Questran
or
Questran
Light
to treat sever bile acid malabsorption. My pharmacy says it’s currently out of stock (which it often is) but now they are saying it’s not likely to be available until April 2020.

Newborn jaundice for 4 weeks
Has anyone newborn had jaundice since birth and lasting over 4 weeks? My little girl was born at 37 weeks almost 4 weeks ago. She was diagnosed with jaundice with 24 hours of labour and we spent a week in hospital getting 4 days of phototherapy. She's home now, feeding well, lots of wet and dirty nappies
