hello just looking for advice. My daughters asthma has been bad for 2 weeks needing her inhaler every 4 hours using 6 of her pink inhaler then using her blue. Her oxygen goes down and then up again once she’s had her inhaler. She’s had 5 days of steriods but no improvement. Spoken to the Asthma nurse

Antibiotic advice please
I was diagnosed with COPD about 5 years ago and, apart from the fact that I’ve not had a lung function test since diagnosis, I’ve coped quite well. I remember writing on this forum about a change in my inhaler but I’m currently using Trelegy Ellipta and have been really well. Unfortunately I developed

Am I Relapsing
I was diagnosed by GP with PMR Aug 2019. Started with 15 mg pred got down to 3 by November 2021 then had a relapse. Extreme fatigue major symptom. Saw Rheumi who confirmed PMR put back to 10 mg Dec 2021 with the advice of trying MTX in May this year. Said I’d prefer to try reducing again but slowly

Refusal to give nebuliser at A & E. Has anyone else experienced this?
I had the misfortune to have to attend A&E with an asthma attack. I feel very let down and wonder why I bothered. I had just visited a relative in hospital when it happened. I gave myself 10 puffs of ventolin in a spacer and when no improvement set off walking very slowly, the relatively short distance

Enerzair Breezhaler
Is there anyone on here using this inhaler. Just switched from Relvar and Incruse to Enerzair Breezhaler .. I'm hoping this is going to be the miracle inhaler to get me back to a better quality of life.. I'm in republic of Ireland so it might be called something in UK.

Dry Powder Inhaler
I have rather out of control asthma at present. My asthma nurse has suggested I switch my fostair 100 to the dry powder version of fostair. Is this a good idea, I could not quite follow the nurses reason for the change.

Update on my Sirdupla changes
I received a call from the health Centre today to say that the consultant doesn't want me to come off inhaled steroids all together. He would like me to swap to the Fostair Nexthaler and keep on my Spiriva. He also wanted to put me on Montelukast to help with the transition. Unfortunately I have been

laryngospasm started in recent months
I have had a slight occasional tickle on the back right side of my throat for several years now. In the last year or two it has become much more easily irritated and I feel like food has gone down the wrong way far more easily. I am often not actually using eating when this happens, it happens when I

Asthma advice/sharing your symptoms/peace of mind please.
Hello all, Would appreciate your thoughts please. First all nice to virtually meet all of you on here. I hope overtime on this forum. To connect with some of you and help to support one another. So it appears I have some form of mild asthmatic/respiratory issue. I'd just like to explain what's happened

Diltiazem and Rosuvastatin
I wondered if anyone has had problems with this statin and diltiazem, please? I also have to have a Fostair inhaler but simply don’t know what’s causing me to feel poorly. I feel spaced out, light headed and unsteady , especially in the mornings ,and often a little nauseous! Any ideas would be gratefully
