not PA, next steps
Hi all. I am now SI EOD and have had my iron infusion which is great. I’ve had my autoimmune blood tests back which show I don’t have an autoimmune disease or Pernicious Anaemia (results attached). I’ve been advised that means I have a gut issue which is blocking absorption, I’m keen to get this looked

skin tears
I have vasculitis, MPA, microscopic Polyangiitis, and have been on prednisone for 3 years. Currently I am on 2.5 mg. Recently I developed several skin tears on my legs. Saw my rheumatologist yesterday and he told me to stop the prednisone. Suggestions please…can I just stop the 2.5 or should I taper

Medication review
I have recently had a medication review from my GP(pharmacist). As I have now turned 65 it looks like in addition to the Flecainide/Bisoprolol I also will also need anticoagulants. I was diagnosed with loan Paroxysmal AF about 20 years ago but have only had 2 episodes in the last 4 years and the most

Specialist results.
Morning all you beautiful people. Well just a follow up on my last post. I saw my Respiratory specialist at the hospital Chest clinic on Wednesday last, and not sure how I feel at the moment, he has spoken to the doctors at Barts in London and they said I would not benefit from Lung reduction surgery

Has anyone been prescribed Fluoxetine for Raynaud's?
I have taken 4mg of Lacidipine for Raynaud's for several years. Nifedipine caused bad headaches so Lacidipine was prescribed instead. I don't get full blown 3 phase Raynaud's attacks these days but my fingers are often blue for long periods of time despite being in a warm environment and my feet suffer

hydroxychloroquine and stuffy itchy nose with occasional bleeding.
My rheumatologist added hydroxychloroquine to my methotrexate regiment for my rheumatoid arthritis. After a few weeks on the hydroxychloroquine, my nose has become itchy and stuffed up, especially when lying down and I am having trouble sleeping. Has anyone else had this problem?
