Pulmicort Turbohaler - does not seem to emit anything
I have used many different inhalers in my life but my GP recently prescribed a
Pulmicort
Turbohaler. When I breathe it in, I feel literally nothing. I presume you should feel/taste something, even if its a very negligible amount. Do these inhalers malfunction periodically?

Has anyone else been told to use Pulmicort nebs after exercising?
He said that as I had a nebulizer at home, I could try a
pulmicort
nebs after exercising. I have never heard of this before? Has anyone else? And if you have did you get any benefit? Meanwhile back on Prednisolone waiting for those sleepless nights. R

Peak flow
I'm currently on
pulmicort
400 mg twice a day after increasing from 200 twice a day three months ago. After increasing the dose I didn't relally notice a decrease in symptoms, but my pef got way better... for one week! At the time I was at 95% of my personal best in the morning.

Growing concerns but feeling ignored.
later I went back to the GP (at this point I would like to point out that it's NEVER the same GP, it's usually a locum doctor and one time it was a phone call from a doctor miles away from where I live), and I got a locum who I then had to repeat my entire history too, he upped my steroid inhaler (

unable to stop crying, unhelpful ENT consultants, need some hope /advice
I take montelukast (generic) for my asthma which was great when first prescribed but much less so now, 100 mcg levothyroxine, cetarazine (5mg), one puff symbicort inhaler once a day, one puff
pulmicort
(steroid only) and supplements so I'm rattling with pills.

asthma drugs and levothyroxine
The asthma doctor wants me to increase my symbicort to twice a day but this seems to make the wheezy worse (I take the steroid without the long acting beta part as
pulmicort
twice a day as well). I follow a very strict lifestyle and diet which works mostly most of the time but not at the moment!

Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. (Revisited)
Cut
Pulmicort
altogether. The effect this drug has is more than adequately covered by other drugs that I was taking. Pleased that I was using nebulised Atrovent (Ipratropium Bromide) instead of Spiriva (Tiotropium Bromide), because of cost and effectiveness.

Asthma steroid inhalers and prednisone
I'm taking 180mcg of
pulmicort
in am and pm. I'm now smarter, and will only reduce one of them at a time.

Newly diagnosed - a couple of questions
I was prescribed
pulmicort
and ventoline. I was told to double the dosage of
pulmicort
for a few days until my symptoms disappear, and on the package it says for 3 days. Although my morning cough is gone, I still get a cough in the evening.
