Update for kestrel5
Recent scans and bloodwork: no evidence of cancer, three years of undetectable
PSA
. Never say 'cured,' but I am enjoying a period of durable treatment effects.

PSA

PSA
was 222 and it was decided to discontinue the drug, get a port, and prepare for chemo. At the first chemo appt on 8/10 (+12 weeks), the blood test showed that my

After 2 Nuclear Ligand treatments should I still have severe bone pain in my lower back?
At first androgen suppressant and 3 radiation treatments to his neck plus Apalutamide seemed to begin to tap down the cancer with his
PSA
level reaching a low of 0.31. However, before a year later, his
PSA
began to rise. Another PSMA Scan. was preformed with good and bad news. 1.

Any enzalutamide for chemo?
Tall Allen recently posted about a trial in which taking enzalutamide during docetaxel chemotherapy might help get the
PSA
down. Abiraterone failed for me recently and I’m re-challenging with docetaxel. I’m based in the UK, and NHS protocol doesn’t allow this.

Enzalutamide vs Lupron Survival
This shows the main results of the EMBARK trial, comparing Metatasis Free Survival and
PSA
Recurrence Free Survival for three groups: Enzalutamide only, Lupron only, or combined Enzalutamide + Lupron. The best survivals were for the combination of Enzalutamide + Lupron.

liver Mets, Pluvicto failed
PSA
went from 4 to 70. Latest scans show new mets to liver. Genetic testing shows ATM mutation. Where to go from here?

Need advice.
I had prostectomy in February of 2020, then radiation therapy a year later as
PSA
rose. Now
PSA
is 1.23 and the oncologist now is recommending beginning Lupron injections. Would welcome any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

ADT Holiday Coming To An End
After nearly 2 years of undetectable while on ADT holiday my 10/2
PSA
result was 0.1. Today, 10/23 my
PSA
was .19. Seems like a rapid doubling time. Sent result to my MO. Waiting for a response.

What does this mean?
My Testosterone was 233 prior to this it was < 7 and my
PSA
was <0.01. Does this new result seem possible. The
PSA
is valid considering I had the same result on my annual just a month ago. Thanks for your thoughts.

Latest PSA! Undetectable
My latest (11/8)
PSA
was <0.1 ng/mL. This is my third in a row that was undetectable since finishing chemotherapy and radiation.

Unexpected Dive in PSA
PSA
was initially 19.76 in April, went up to 21.78 in May to confirm first high

, retested again in August at 19.39. Started taking Orgovyx on 9/11 and began IMRT (37 fractions, 70-78gy to prostate, SIB boost to 85-90gy) on 9/28. Had my
PSA
checked again on 10/10 and it is now 2.07 (!).

Side effects from Xtandi monotherapy?
after failing multiple times on regular ADT plus SBRT and finally failing LU– 177 and Provenge, my
PSA
went on the rise again. I’ve been on mono Xtando for six weeks and not feeling well despite trying to exercise heavily. Going in for bloodwork tomorrow. What kind of labs should I ask for?

My brother has advanced Prostate Cancer
After 1 month his
PSA
increased but M.O. told him we should wait at least 3 months to make sure. Now 2 months passed and his
PSA
increased again from 39 to 46. During this past month he had radiotherapy on his pelvic area for the second time.

Long Journey
Over the years
PSA
would rise, and I would be put on Lupron for 18-24 months. In 2017,
PSA
started rising fast. Brought an MO into the mix. I was placed on Lupron, Xgeva and Erleada (apalutamide). That worked for 5.5 years until we figured out Erleada was making me dizzy.
