Can't sleep been up for two days because of pain and anxiety
Hey Ladies, What do you recommend I ask my Doctor for to help me sleep or just calm me down? I have to go back to my Doctor soon anyway as she wants to put a mirena in hopefully that mirena works out fingers crossed. I just got my last slow release dihydrocodeine script filled but have had the worst

Has anyone else found that they don't dream (when lucky enough to sleep) on meds such as pregabalin & nortriptyline?
I used to have frequent and extremely vivid dreams but realised while taking Champix (common side effect: extremely vivid dreams) that I'd rarely dreamt in the three years I've been on these meds (amongst others). I realise my overall lack and poor quality of rest must reduce REM sleep but think these

I'm taking 70mg nortriptyline daily and sumatriptan when I have an attack, but the sumatriptan has started to not work after a few hours.
I'm feeling really scared because due to being told I had over used zomig and codeine ( although I hadn't been told about overuse) I spent a year from oct 2012 to oct 2013 not being able to take anything, under the instruction of my neurologist. My headaches did decrease from 24 days of the month to

Finally! Something that works.
So the GP finally gave in and gave me Tramadol to trial for a week. This was yesterday so early days. I have only taken a few and then only 1 at a time as I didn't want to push my luck. It is working! I feel a whole lot less pain. Yay! On the downside I'm currently getting all over itching (not because

Does anyone else find themselves going in to self destruct mode?
I seem to be doing it a lot recently. I must apologise as I haven't been around much of late. The holidays were a testing 2 weeks and, although I enjoyed spending time with family around, I found it very tiring. This week has been worse though. I went completely in to overdrive. I've had cats at the

Diagnosed a month ago!
Hi. I am new to all of this. I was only diagnosed about a month ago. I have been in so much pain for just over a year and it had become unbearable. I have to admit that my GP has been wonderful. She sent me to a chiropractor and for all manner of tests and just came out with it - 'you have fibromyalgia

This is from MedicineNet.com: Doctors response Nortriptyline (Pamelor) is a tricyclic anti-depressant. Discontinuation (withdrawal) of tricyclic anti-depressants can cause symptoms of restlessness, anxiety, chills, muscle pain, headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Symptoms can be reduced by slowly
