Radiotherapy?
My PSA has gone up and down for a couple of years. 12 samples were taken for the biopsy, 7 of 12 positive T2b. urologist recommended Radical retropubic
prostatectomy
and mentioned radiotherapy. I have searched the net and found some good information and some contradictory.

Surgery or Radiation?
Hi Guys, I'm looking for some wisdom from my learned brothers. The Urologist who diagnosed me (April 19th) told me that my PC was advanced and I had 'positive margins' which I understand to mean that there is evidence the cancer in my prostate was evident at the very end of at least some of my biopsy

Gleason Grades 3+3 vs. 3+4 And The Decision To Use Active Surveillance As A Primary Treatment

Biochemical Recurrence
I'm 14 years since my initial radical
prostatectomy
. PSA levels have been rising for 3 years. My question is at what point should my Urologist suggest for me to see oncologist? I'm not putting numbers, I've read so many conflicting suggestions online.

Perioperative Blood Transfusion as a Significant Predictor of Biochemical Recurrence and Survival after Radical Prostatectomy in Patients wi
In preparation for my radical
prostatectomy
12 years ago, I had two units of blood drawn (the maximum I was allowed), in case blood was needed during surgery. The surgeon told me that most RPs did not require blood. In any case, 2 units would be more than enough.

23 years post-diagnosis
He underwent radical
prostatectomy
. In 2001 his PSA started to go up and reached 4.4. Bone scan did not show any mets. He underwent radiation for two months and his PSA went to .10. He was also on Lupron for several months. In spring 2012 PSA rose to 4.4 and started to climb.

Semen
I don't know just how personal I can get here, but.....my seminal vesicles were supposedly taken during my radical
prostatectomy
, but when I "induce" an orgasm, I appear to leak seminal fluid. Any ideas? I apologize if it's TMI.

Post-op anal play question
My question is directed to other gay/bi- men who have a history of penetrative anal sex play and who have had a radical
prostatectomy
. I have enjoyed anal play (including fisting) for years and would like to know what others with similar histories can share about their post-op experience.

Will it return?
Had radical
prostatectomy
. They also took the seminal vesicles. No other involvement. I am on here, mostly, to get an idea of if and when the "beast" will show it's face again. Thank you.

Accepting the diagnosis
Prostatectomy
in Late January, Lupron starred week 4, radiation starts this month then a run of chemo (recommended by my urologist and oncologist) PSA has almost gotten to that magic <0.1, was 0.26 just 8 weeks after surgery which was a pleasant surprise for my Urologist and oncologist.
