Just been told I have two years to live.
Just been told I have two years to live. Male, age 73, Eligard injections, Abiraterone and Predisnone for four and a half years, some radiotherapy. PSA levels initially 69, brought down to 7 by Abiraterone. Suddenly stopped working. Went on Radium 233 trial. Never again, and it didn't work. Since then

Ten Months After All Treatments Ended
My Oncologist stopped my Eligard injections in October of 2022. My August 2023 bloodwork shows that my testosterone has risen from 2.0 to 10.0 in that time. My PSA was <0.1 ten months ago and is now 0.1 (Canadian units). I know that this cancer is a long game, but given my diagnosis in 2020, I am happy

tumor in spleen
my husband is having his spleen out very soon due to 2 tumors. We won’t know for sure if they are cancer until pathology done. He had radiation plus Lupron and has been in remission 2 years. 4 + 4 Psa still non detectable. Tumors picked up on pet scan to check kidney. Radiologist has said rare

PSMA PET scan
Hello everyone, pardon the simplicity of my question. Is PSMA the same as PET Scan? I ask this because I specifically asked my MO to have a PSMA pet scam but no where in the order or appointment a mention of PSMA pet scan it only says pet scan. I am concerned because MO doesn't seem to be very involved

PTH and aggressive PCa? I need guidance
Hello, everyone! I can really use some guidance. My husband’s PTH (Parathyroid hormone) has been elevated since his Dx (pre & post treatments) Being that his blood calcium is at normal levels, his MO ruled out Secondary Hyperparathyroidism, and moved on. But that never sat right with me. Why the elevated

castration after 7 years of ADT
I have been on Zoladex for nearly 7 years and am fully over any regrets of Chemical castration. My psa is now slowly rising and ghastly taken 2 years from undetectable to 0.65. I am considering surgical castration now as it would mean no more 3 monthly Zoladex injections and a reduced chemical load on

Pluvicto Failed - Next step
Hello Warriors: Pluvicto has failed. I went through four sessions and had severe side effects of exhaustion and GI problems as well as it seemed to stimulate my foot neuropathy. My PSA went down during injection 2 and 3 but then came back up in 4. Disappointing... I just met my new MO at the Mayo

Relugolix and Apalutamide
Any experience with elevated AST and ALT after being treated with Relugolix and Apalutamide? My AST and ALT were normal on Relugolix for 6 weeks.....added Apalutamide and after 4 weeks my AST and ALT are now 3X previous level. I feel fine. Oncologist is wanting to stop the one of the drugs.....I convinced

What a long strange road it's been.
Nov 2007 I had DaVinci surgery Gleason 7. I got the surgeon's notes and he said margins were clear, took s bunch of lymph glands, all clear. Held my dick in his hand and said it would come back. It did, but never quite lost the "happy bladder" and I shot pee about 50% of the time. PSA never went

I was given a 3 month Lupron shot which reduces my PSA to 0.24 ug/l. I'm considering going on IADT....6 months of ADT followed by 6 months break and repeat. Anyone

8/4/2023 Update
To review, after 19 months on Lupron, Zytiga, prednisone, PSA increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated. 4/4 PSA dropped to 0.24 which indicated the lesion was knocked out and I would be hormone sensitive and stay on Zytiga. Yea
