Is it worth it?
I'm a 64 year old gay man married for 30+ years. I went to get my testosterone checked and it was slightly low but the doctor said before he prescribed T he wanted to do a PSA test. My PSA was 8, so he told me no sex or biking for 10 days and we retested and it was down to 5 which he said was still

Strong negative reaction to first Docetaxel treatment
I am participating in an NIH study combining Docetaxel with an immunotherapy. I had my first treatment of only Docetaxel this Tuesday. I lasted 2 minutes and 7cc before I had a severe reaction - severe flushing (glowing red from head to toe), difficulty breathing, sweating, uncontrollable shivering.

Taking vacation from meds bad idea?
I am 64 year old restaurant owner that works hard and manages 30 employees. I am polymetastatic with the usual side effects and my PSA is undetectable. Anyone know what the science says about taking a break from the medications? Good idea? Bad idea? Is there any real evidence to prove either way?

PSMA pet scan negative
My PSA was 0.1 on july 17th and 0.3 on Oct 16th. PSMA scan was done on Nov 7th but was negative. Am I safe to assume there must be some prostate cancer cell present that are not showing up on the scan? I am meeting with my MO at Dana Farber next week Any suggestions moving forward? I appreciate the

Epididymitis or something else?
Hi everyone, bit embarrassed to be even posting this, but just a bit worried, very worried in fact. So bit of a back story first, a few weeks ago I started noticing that after I went to the toilet for a wee, mainly at night, I was feeling as though I needed to go again, but not in the usual way, like

Side effects back 6months after treatment.
Hi all I am 67 and was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year with a PSA of11, an MRI indicated a couple of areas of concern in the prostate which was later confirmed by a Prostate biopsy (Ouch!!). I was given a choice of treatments and I opted (rightly or wrongly) for external beam radiotherapy

Proton Beam radiation
83 ys old, gleason 9, ADT since Feb 22=6 sessions until now. No prostatectomie. Proton beam radiation: 30 sessions = 72 Gy, result PSA 0,014 (undetectable), minor inkontinence (pads). I am very happy about the outcome. Living in Germany: insurances cover the cost( approx 50k)

Has anyone been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer as well as prostate cancer? My husband is getting ready to have a bone marrow biopsy to see if that is what is going on. I have read that chemo and radiation can lead to bone cancers😖

I had a PSMA scan that found 3 small spots. My MO and Radiation O decided to radiate the spots without ADT. PSA is 0.28

improving!
My PSA reading a few months ago was 1900+. it had been rising constantly for three years. Then I started taking Fenbendazole tablets for three days each week, and my PSA reading dropped by 400 each month and it is now 800+ and hopefully continuing to reduce! Mobellman

BAT treatment
Looks like this is the next step for hubby as LU177 Pluvicto 6 treatments completed. Unfortunately PSA has doubled, so going to try a reverse approach suggested by our Urologist. John Hopkins was the study trial location. Hubby would be our urologist first patient to try this. See if you can find

Provenge Complete
Well folks, I completed Provenge with no issues or SE’s to note. I understand my PSA will not be lowered by this treatment and it has gone way up, from 24 first of October to 58 last week. I am still waiting to hear from Sarah Cannon Research to review possible clinical trials. In a way I feel like

Celebrex and Curcumin and Magnesium.
I recently received a question from a fellow warrior based on a comment I had made on an older post that he had started. The question was what I thought about Naproxen compered to Celebrex and I told him I had very limited experience with Naproxen. I then clicked on older posts about nsaids and prostate

Need more info on related symptoms
On the surface, I seem to be doing very well. Per earlier posts: Gleason 5+4, intraductal, possible perinueral spread, PET scan shows spread to lymph nodes only but as distant as the clavicle. Apparently these clavicle lymph nodes show up very pale on the scan and are too small to biopsy. But, treatment
