Hello, I would like some help as I am new to all of this and feeling a little overwhelmed. I am a 32 year old female (66kg) I have had high thyroid antibodies for years and had a baby 8 months ago which has tipped my body into being hypothyroid. So I assume I have hashimotos although this hasn’t been

Hello lovely, knowledgeable folks - belated 'Happy New Year' to you all! After an increase of levothyroxine (LT) in November 2023 from 50 mcg/ day to 75 mcg/day, I had back-to-back tests on 02 Jan. (Medichecks - professional blood draw) and 03 Jan. (NHS), to see comparable results. Both tests were

What causes subclinical hypothyroidism?
My brief history: Diagnosed subclincal last year and have felt persistently awful on all doses of levo (25-75mcg) and 75 pushed my t4 slightly too high. The side effects of it have been debilitating and in many ways I feel worse taking it. 25mcg puts my t4 at around 18 which seemed high for a tiny dose

Looking for help :(
Diagnosed with hashimotos. I’ve had a few ongoing issues and symptoms and they’re getting worse. My endo didn’t believe it was thyroid related or pcos related but arranged for other tests like ACTH, RF etc. He also stated at this point they were discharging me as there’s nothing more they can help with

Is it normal to experience breast tender _heaviness or painful to touch when you are preparing for embryo transfer
. I am taking 6 tablets a day of progonova for my utrus lining and in day 6 I started to feel so much pain in my breast. Does it mean my prolactin hormonal is raising and this will be a cancelled cycle to transfer . Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you all

Thyroid Results
I never had a brain scan however I had a cannulated
prolactin
test
that came back normal which ruled out a pituitary tumour. I’m just wondering if my latest thyroid results could cause me to have symptoms & feel so unwell everyday.

My ‘thyroid journey’ has been an interesting one and now approaching its 4th year. I’m fairly convinced I don’t have autoimmune thyroid disease and relatively confident my adrenals play a big part in my symptoms, however it’s not just adrenals as I’ve tested myself on HC solo and it doesn’t work. Aaanyway

Raised prolactin
we are working towards DEIVF in August. The vlinic in Prague asked me to get TSH and Prolactin tested. My prolactin is way higher than the normal range. 630 I ran to the clinic and can see exercise can increase it. I’m also on day 21 of my cycle. Don’t know if that makes difference- I was told to get

Hi all, hope you can help/advise. I have had sub-clinical hypothyroidism (diagnosed by TSH level only 😕) for approx 20 years. Prolactin
I have been meaning to tackle prolactin (PRL) for at least a dozen years, but there are hundreds of PCa papers and who has the time? It's an important topic that is rarely mentioned. A recent paper (Jan 13, 2003 - my 75th birthday, so how could I ignore it?) has this in the intro (note - PRLR is the
