There are several anticholinergic drugs available for people with Parkinson disease, including trihexyphenidyl, benztropine, orphenadrine,
procyclidine
, and biperiden. These medications are believed to be equally effective. Anyone using these above with no other medications for PD?

What causes muscle spasms and twitching after meals?
He also has 2 x 1/4
procyclidine
to counter the effects of the other medications. Something in that mix made him very confused in the night so he has since stopped the overnight madopar, tamsulin, and zopiclone which has helped him to be less confused.

40+ son with schizophrenia. Can anyone relate?
He was sectioned in 1996 for 3 months, was medicated with Haloperidol and
Procyclidine
but stopped the drugs after leaving hospital and has refused meds and all contact with social and health agencies ever since.

Has anyone tried trihexyphenidyl, procyclidine or orphenadrine ? If so any help?
Dad has had some benefit from the hyoscine patches in terms of improving movement and speech at first, but now they just help with swallow mainly. The patch gives too much of a rash so we may give one of these a try, just thought I'd see if anyone else had tried? It is for Parkinson's really.

My neuro patch experience has just started.
After being on a mixture of ropinirole and
procyclidine
successfully, the rls started gradually returning stronger than ever. Coupled with this it had also spread to my arms.
