I'll be going in this next week to do a
procrit
shot and iron I.V. to boost my numbers so I can stay on track, but otherwise I just need to keep doing what I'm doing.

High Creatinine at 8.0
I fatigue after standing too long but I attribute that to a Hgb rate of 8.6, feel okay when taking
procrit
, which I haven't needed to do in 5 weeks (had readings of over 11). Is there anyone who as experienced this situation.

Just Finished my First Round FCR!
I had to get
Procrit
shot due to hemoglobin dropping a little. Apparently, it is common for the red cells to get suppressed while the white cells are being attacked. No problem with shot. Just for 2 hrs while waiting to be discharged, I got fatigued. It lifted and I went home feeling good.

I'm new at this website
I'm on weekly
Procrit
shots which raised my hemoglobin from 7.0 to 7.9. Then the Jakafi was reduced to 20 mg which put my hemoglobin up to 9.0.

weekly transfusions going on 4 months
He has also received weekly
Procrit
injections for the last month. Hgb hasn't budged yet. Based on the BMB results, the doctor doesn't believe this is aplasia and all other blood counts are now in the normal range. Labs don't indicate AIHA. We are stumped and frustrated and worried.

Mrs. Tom-36
CY 12 he began more chemotherapy (Jevtana) followed 24 hours later by an injection of Neulasta and an injection of
Procrit
when his hemoglobin count has been too low. Megestrol Oral suspension (40mg) has been prescribed for lack of appetite and has been effective.

Do people often have to receive blood transfusions?
The
procrit
injections - 60,000 units each time don't seem to be helping at all. Thanks in advance for your help.
