Thyroid medicine and supplemets schedule
Hello! I’m taking quite a few supplements now and I’m not sure about the best schedule for them. I’ve read a few posts regarding them but I need a personalized schedule. I’m currently taking 125mcg levothyroxine, 20mcg liothyronine split in 2 doses, calcium+alfacalcidol 2 times daily, probiotic, folate

Crohn's for 2 years, calprotectin low symptoms returned
I have Crohn's for 2 years. Colonoscopy was clear , but when we did capsule endoscopy on the last part of the small intestine 7 small ulcers were found. Current therapy is 6MP. I was doing great for few months , but then all of sudden some symptoms returned (I was eating everything even some lactose)

ERA, EMMA and ALICE results - anyone else post receptive?
My results showed a slight reduction in good microbiome so some
probiotics
will sort that. Also I was post- receptive so I need fewer days from starting progesterone to transfer.

Coordinating pill times help please
Need some guidance please on the best timings for thyroxine and vitamins. I’ve just received my first pack of thyroxine and not decided on when to take them yet. I feel night time might be better as I’ll have the day free to take everything else. Although I’m leaning towards the morning as I wake up

Probiotics and thyroid meds?
I just started taking my liothyronine at 6am followed by
probiotics
at 8am and resceratrol at 9am. Is that OK? Or are those interfering with liothyronine?

Lactobacillus and Levodopa
Has anyone seen the uTube video re the Gastro Intestinal doctor who advised against taking
probiotics
because of the adverse action of lactobacillus on Levodopa? I saw it recently and can't find it now - I am interested in reading further about the lactobacillus impact on Levodopa.

Chronic Belly Bloating on Hydrea
Hi All, I've been on hydrea (hydoxycarbamide 500mg) for about 20 mths now. Platelets are normal, so my dose is reduced to 500mg daily. I am still suffering with chronic tummy bloat. For someone who is normally slim, it's annoying to be burdened with a balloon tummy. It has added about 2 kg of weight

Newbie looking for advice on recent test result
I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in april 2022. What a rollercoaster! Do I have an autoimmune thyroid disorder? My first test was looking at reason for a change in bowel movements and fatigue. Doctor responded directly to the TSH level and placed me on 25mg levothyroxine. Serum

Any benefit taking probiotics with hydroxy treatment?
I'm on a 500mg daily regimen maintenance regimen now (and most likely for life) so would like to know if I should keep up with a daily probiotic capsule? Have you noticed any difference on or off theses capsules? As they are rather pricey, is there an alternative? By the way, my haemo gave a nod when

worried about colon issues.
I’m pretty active in my working out life, I’ve recently tried to eat a little healthier, and I take
probiotics
as well as counseling to try and help with my gut health. I’ve told my doctor about my concerns, so he started with the ultrasound and nothing was found. Everything looked good.

Medichecks Result and a warning about testing & HRT
Apologies for the long post (my first) and thank you if you manage to get to the end of it. Bit of history first (there's more in my bio), after 7 years of being bedbound with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, I was finally prescribed combination T3/T4 in 2018. I hadn't had my bloods checked since 2019

Akkermansia probiotic
I recently read that akkermansia has been linked to advanced prostate cancer. It is also now being touted as the latest thing for diabetes. As such, I've been giving it to my husband, who has a small amount of prostate cancer, for less than a month. I will immediately discontinue it, but wonder if

Doctor Berg on fasting to treat autoimmune disease (I think PD is at least partially autoimmune)
I also skip some of my supplements on Saturday now (the ones requiring food and the
probiotics
). I also intermittent fast eating between 10 AM and 6 PM on non-fasting days.

Stomach issues
Hello everyone, I'm almost 2 years in now with PA diagnosis. I get b12 injection once every 4 weeks. Things have gotten better but I still suffer from gastric problems. I've tried gluten free and other diets but I can't seem to pin down what type of food cause this low level pain in gut sometimes

Symprove probiotic - when to take
hi all I know some of you have taken this and results are mixed. It’s expensive but worth trying out. Symprove instructions are to take first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. However for us hypos who take their T4 and/or T3 first thing on an empty stomach, which one should go first?

Digestive problems
I’ve started a course of
probiotics
to see if that helps and have been given a prescription for Omreprazole which I’m reluctant to take as I’ve read it can limit absorption of thyroxine. Is/has anyone else had similar issues and/or found an effective remedy? Thanks in advance.
