Thoughts on extra Iodine intake in pregnancy (history of Graves)
I heard that there is more need for iodine in
pregnancy
and am considering taking extra (in the form of liquid iodine - a few drops absorbed into the skin daily). However I am a bit apprehensive about whether this is a good idea or not. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on this? Thanks!

Endocronologist experience
He also said that you can’t go on NDT or T3 only if considering
pregnancy
and that it wasn’t worth me getting genetic testing for poor t4-t3 conversation as it would send me down an unhelpful rabbit hole.

Medscape article on RLS
In addition, RLS affects up to 1 in 4 pregnancies and tends to worsen as

Sensitive - advice about progesterone in pregnancy
So, after drawing a line under having another child after using our last embryo last year, I have miraculously fallen pregnant naturally. It is still early days and I am still in shock! The main thing that worries me is my progesterone levels were low last time I was pregnant. I only knew this due to

*sensitive* WTF?? 😳
I felt really nauseous this morning and on a whim took a
pregnancy
test at the same time as my usual ovulation test. It instantly just lit up 😳😳Took another. Same. Ran to the chemist to take a 3rd. All I’m separate cups & urine because I literally cannot believe my eyes.

what do I do
my partner was diagnosed with SLE during
pregnancy
. We had a little boy 21/06/22 who has neonatal lupus and congenital heart block, he had a pacemaker fitted 24/04/23 so things have been hard. My partners flares are getting worse each time, we did a kidney home test and it came back positive.

my skin? Health?
Two years ago due to
pregnancy
I had a pulmonary embolism on my left lung but other than mental health I’ve always been physically well. I’ve gained so much weight now as well. I used to be like a stick now I’ve got weight on my stomach and hips.

Another BFN (trying for a sibling) and next steps
Last week we had our follow up consultation with our fertility doctor and after asking why we have had so many embryos fail in a row (following a successful
pregnancy
back in 2020) we were told it was highly likely they were all abnormal embryos (nothing else seemed to be the cause) and this was attributed

Sensitive: update and lines/symptoms in case it's helpful
This shock natural
pregnancy
may actually be happening - I know this is sensitive and tbh I was quite resentful when I saw people getting pregnant naturally on here as I assumed it would never be me.

Navitaging friends' loss with your own
Hi lovely people, We've just had our second loss (a chemical
pregnancy
following assisted conception) after not getting pregnant for over a year after our first loss. My husband invited his best mate and wife to visit us ages ago and this is fast approaching in a couple of weeks.

Rectocele repair surgery
I had an episiotomy and tearing after my first birth so my second
pregnancy
just made this worse. I was incredibly embarrassed about having to splint when I was only in my 30s so eventually I sought help.

When the exciting time comes to pack your hospital bag you know you’re coming to the end of your
pregnancy
and your little bundle of joy will finally be here soon. But what do you need to pack?

pregnant and new job
I have severe morning sickness and terrible headaches as I’m also having to take progesterone pessaries and clexane injections during this
pregnancy
due to having sticky blood. I have to go into the office and I’m just feeling so uncomfortable where no one knows and I feel so unwell.
