Low Fat Plant Based Whole Food- What it is ?
Some members have been asking me "What exactly is the Low Fat Plant based Whole food?" And any links to know more about this Diet? This made me to make this post for the benefit of all of those who are interested to know more. Well as the name indicates- it is Low in Fat and it is a Plant Based Whole

Low carb/keto and running...
Just completed my last run of c25k! Last week I found it my HBA1C levels were 42 which is just in prediabetes range. I did a bit of research and started ketogenic diet, but my last 2 runs felt like really hard work. Anyone have any advice in low carb and running? Thanks 🙏

Any ideas? Is this a withdrawal symptom?
First the good news, today is the 12 week mark of no prednisolone! I have a slightly troubling problem with my feet on going to sleep this past week. It is a form of pins and needles on laying down, okay when I am standing with weight on my feet, makes getting off to sleep harder. Any one else get this

Anti-inflammatory diet

Constant bouts of Itching
I was diagnosed as to having PMR just under 3 years ago. Currently reducing from 7.5mg /day to 7.0mg/day, using DSNS taper schedule, as I have had problems at this level before, and had to increase the dosage back up again. For the last year or so, I have suffered with extreme bouts of itching, and

Processed carbs
Eating processed carbs can measurably increase liver fat, signaling damaging inflammation. That’s because processed carbs increase your triglyceride & glucose levels, damaging your liver. Repeat that too many times & you'll join the ever-increasing number of those who are obese.

Surely I must be diabetic but HbA1c says 41
Is there a table or chart which shows how many people are diabetic (type 2) by weight or BMI? The background to my question is that I have a BMI of 39 which is very high and I respond well to diabetes meds (sitagliptin) when I have been given them in the past but my HbA1c (which has risen to 53 in the

New weapon for inflammation.
Flinders University researchers have discovered a new anti-inflammatory role for well-known blood clot protein fibrinogen, which could support targeted new treatments for kidney, heart and other common diseases. The study in Redox Biology describes how fibrinogen can be protective against hypochlorite
