The despair of restless legs.Is there any help out there for this disease
I am currently on Neupro Patches (4mg) but will have to stop them as my skin is erupting in blisters and angry red patches.Looks as though I will have to go back on to

Possible urgent need to come off pramipexole: any tips please.
I seem to be suffering from side effects (serious day tiredness) of
pramipexole
already and (after seeking medical advice) such symptoms could be caused by the
pramipexole
. I will know tomorrow morning if they are.

aspartame
I had thought it was the
pramipexole
controlling my legs, and the change caused by augmentation, but it is such a coincidence I'm going back to sugary coke to see what happens.

Urgent advice please on the side effects of pramipexole.
I have posted before about day time sleepiness caused by
pramipexole
usage. I do intend to see my GP ASAP but in the mean time I am getting day time sleepiness so severe that I seem to be tired all day and do keep falling asleep at work.

Anyone out there similar to me?
I take 3
Pramipexole
tabs on a night. But lately it seems to have got worse. I was reading things on the Internet tonight about things that are meant to help, two of which I am trying for the first time - a bar of soap under the sheet! and a hot water bottle.

Are there any treatments for RLS that work but don't cause daytime tiredness as a side-effect?
I suspect the cause could be a side effect of the
pramipexole
I am taking for RLS. I've tried ropinerole and the Patch but didn't get on well with them. Does anyone else take anything that doesn't cause sleepiness? Cheers, Tpebop.

How do i change from Ropinirole to Pramipexole
As the Sinemet were causing more problems than the Ropinirole and i don't see the consultant for a few months yet my GP has agreed to put me on
Pramipexole
to see how that goes. The augmentation from the Ropinirole was getting worse.

Working With Sleep Deprivation.
I usually take a fifth 0.088mg tab of
pramipexole
shortly before going to bed to see me thro' the night. Unfortunately, last night, I didn't. So, at 03:45 this a.m. I awoke with RLS. Problem: I have to get up at 04:45 and knew it would be pointless trying to get back to sleep.

Changing to slow release pramipexole
Previously I was on normal
pramipexole
for several years, latest dose being 2 x 180 microgram tablets per day, taken around 7 pm and 2 am. However the slow release, taken at 7 pm, left me without any relief during the evening or night.

I suffer rls mainly during the day to evening. Going to bed helps me. Please helpt4
I have just been put on
pramipexole
. Day four not helping so far apart from knocking me out at night and making me feel tired in mornings. Plus very dry mouth. I really need some relief from this now. I also now suffer anxiety attacks too. :-(

Diary of a week with RLS - what I am taking to show my GP next week
Discussed medication for RLS ie
pramipexole
and dose rates. He then did test and confirmed L/itus. Gave me medication for nausea. Took meds on Monday and for the first time in months felt on top of the world that evening! Took 3 tabs at 7.30pm.

Questions on side effects and long term treatment.
The alternative seems to be the slow release
pramipexole
. Question 1: does the slow release
pramipexole
have side effects like the Patch as I would like to remain awake during the working day?

My GP has said that I cannot take the
pramipexole
and that there is no safe RLS medication for use during pregnancy.
