Thanks to Elisse
Also added pre gabalin according to Dr Bachfuhrer and will be switching from requip to
pramipexole
also per Dr B. Thanks for your input. You are quite the expert and I guess it may come from research and experience. Sadly I'm still not really in control but am generally better.

Help & advice please
I'm now taking 0.50 of
Pramipexole
at night but it's no longer working. Right now I'm so tired but unable to sleep as I need to move my legs! I have also started to get it in my arms. It's starting to have an impact on my quality of life.

Anyone get RLS as a withdrawal symptom trying to ween off Mirapex or another Dopamine agonist?
I try to wean off
Pramipexole
(Mirapex) periodically and my body does not let me do it.. I get RLS - either from withdrawal -OR- I got RLS since I started taking Mirapex and did not know it until trying to eliminate it. I wish I never started taking the sh*t. I believe it is highly addictive.

Restless Leg Syndrome
I have suffered from RLS for the past 35 years and as I get older it seems to be getting more, at present on 0.25 mg of
Pramipexole
twice per day and family Dr. has given me permission to go to 3 - 0.25 per day, which is helping. Has anyone tried using Infra Red light treatment ??

Does going off the meds for a while help with tolerance and augmentation?
I've been on
Pramipexole
for almost eight years. In the beginning it was an enormous relief. Now I can't live without it, and it doesn't work very well. So I have a problem with a) a declining response to my medication over time and b) a worsening of symptoms due to on-going treatment.

Feels as it is getting worse
I am on
pramipexole
0.18mg once at night but I feel after a year or so my rls is getting worse. I believe this may be augmentation. Do you have any ideas. It drives me mad as I wake up with it now and long lies are a thing of the past.

Nuropentin
I took Ropinirole for several years & then for various reasons was put on
Pramipexole
. This worked quite well for the RLS but weight gain & other side effects led me to ask to get off
Pramipexole
before it was too hard to wean off - had only been on for about 4 months.

Help RLS during daytime
My GP agreed to add an extra 0.088mg
Pramipexole
/day for during holiday, I fear that is not going to help.

Maybe a reaction of zopiclone/clonazepam to earlier dose of
pramipexole
. But it seems a dangerous combineation to me. Wonder if others have similar reactions.

Mirapex & urinary tract infections
Has anyone experienced this whilst taking
Pramipexole
. The side effects of this drug seem endless whilst on the other hand it seems to really help with the RLS.

Is this just me ?
Hi Everyone , not posted for very long time . Have had a number of things going on ,not least my father has had quadruple bypass and pacemaker fitted , and the 3 months they told him it would take to get back on his feet has been nearly 3 yrs , although this hasn't been helped by the diagnosis of lung

Mirapax (pramipexole) side effects - hyper sexual almost ended in divorce!
My husband was diagnosed at the age of 35 with early onset. He is a very intelligent & succesful man, held high moral standards, a role model to many people. He is also a trophy husband, everything you would want from a man. He loves me dearly. Then came the diagnosis. Doctor put him on Mirapax.

changing medication timing on my own
My husband (75) was taking
Pramipexole
1MG in the evenings. Among other problems, it was to correct restless leg syndrome. It gave him terrible insomnia. Even a prescription for Trazadone didn't help him sleep.
