I need advice on what I do next please. Physical and mental fatigue particularly brain fog has gone a lot worse in last 12 months. In last 4 weeks increased Levo from 75 to 125mcg and added 6.25mcg Unipharma T3 but felt worse . 2 days ago decided to stop Levo and T3 altogether and try NDT Thyroid S

T3 out of stock
My usual supplier of T3 is out of stock and I am running low. Would be grateful if anybody could pm me with details of reliable supplier. Getting really fed up with having to jump through hoops of fire to obtain the only medication that makes me feel well after RAI treatment to my thyroid. I know there

Low T3 uptake. Help please!
Post RAI Graves for 10 years now: A year ago, despite TSH of 3.8 and FT4 of 14.7, my FT3 was 3.3 (range 4.00 -6.80). Doctor advised increasing Levo by .50 mg per week from 1.25mg x 5 days, 100mg x 2 days per week to 125mg each day. I am highly dose-sensitive. Latest test shows, as expected, FT4 raised

Newbie with no Thyroid and fatty liver
Hi all, In 2010 I had radioactive iodine for nodules in the thyroid which were growing quite quickly and causing issues. My doctor said there wouldn’t be a lot of problems as I would just become a little, hypothyroid and it will be corrected with meds. A few weeks after treatment I began to pile on the

If any of you knowledgeable people have the time, could you please look through this list of what’s in H&B mega vits and tell me if there’s anything I shouldn’t be taking. I’m hypothyroid with antibodies and on levothyroxine. I take one of these vits everyday at lunchtime and take my Levo at approx

Post partum - weaning
Saw an endo yesterday and he is certain I have PPT (from pregnancy/miscarriages) and would have watched and waited before going onto thyroid med. Why would I need less thyroxine after 30 years on same dose?
I've been on 150 mcg thyroxine for around 30 years. My reading over the years have been within range then went down to 0.01 but as I felt absolutely fine my long term doctor said it was okay to stay on that dose. Now another doc has said I should reduce the dose to 125mcg which I eventually agreed

Alternative to iodine contrast for CT colonograghy ?
Hi all, I urgently need to have a scan of abdomen and pelvic area, but I’m allergic to the iodine contrast dye that they inject. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so how did you overcome it. I can’t believe I’m the only one with this problem, but the medics seem unable to come up with a solution
