Just looking through a natural remedies catalogue. Valerian for sleep and stress, St. John's wort for SAD and depression, vitamin B complex for energy. Don't know if that's helpful to anyone? Xx

Has anyone experienced Hypothyroidism whilst taking antibiotics (specifically Trimethoprim or ceflaxin)?
I have had Hasimotos for over 10 years and never experienced any symptoms, happily remaining stable on 150mg levothyroxine. In the last year my TSH went from 1.8 to 2.6 to 3.8, my doctor wasn't concerned as I was within range 0.7-5 and didn't change my dose. Shortly after the last blood test, I got

Could this be pudendal neuralgia? If so, what would you recommend from your experience?
Back in the beginning of June 2013 I thought I was getting a UTI so went to the doctor who gave me trimethoprim. This made no difference in fact I then began getting a really bad itching and burning sensation around my genitals. Another doctor prescribed amoxicillin for non specific urethritis...again

Really would like some advice if possible
Bear with me, I will get to the point after some background - please bear in mind I really struggle at doctors and get tongue tied & nervous - perhaps not getting my point across clearly and have a major fear of being labelled a hypochondriac! About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis

Day 8 of stopping B12 and complex and feel dreadful
I stopped taking my B vitamins because I want to have an active B12 test. One month was the suggested time. But today I feel dreadful. I feel hung over and dizzy. I feel like I felt before taking the B vitamins. I have mindfully not changed anything. I am doing this because previous blood tests

Awful pain shooting down my groin, my gynaecologist said it was vitamin b deficiency but my blood test has come back normal.......
Any idea what this could be? Also I get random horrendous pain in my left side abdomen and back. Anything else I can try to help it I am already on 8 tramadol tablets a day. Are painful joints associated with endometriosis? Sorry for such a long post it's my first time on here and I don't know anyone

What vitamins and minerals (etc) are best to take - and what dosage?
I already take Magnesium, a multivitamin with probiotic and calcium with Vitamin D (for Osteoporosis) I also take Glucosamine for creaky knees! I'm thinking of trying a Vitamin B boost - apparently my maternal grandmother suffered crippling headaches (probably migraine) and used to swear by her "Yeasties

Now AMA

KNOWING EGGS “EGGS-ACTLY”.........................
When deciding whether to include eggs in your diet, consider the recommended daily limits on cholesterol in your food: If you are healthy, it's recommended that you limit your dietary cholesterol to less than 300 milligrams (mg) a day. Magnesium - does it help fatigue?
Hi, a friend of mine told me that her fatigue was helped by magnesium injections. I've only tried magnesium supplements but gave up because the taste was vile (these were pure and in tablet form from health shop). I've now bought some Floradix from the health shop but there was another liquid compound

PROS AND CONS OF WHOLE GRAINS........ WHOLE GRAINS - A MYTH ?
The Food Pyramid says eat more whole grains; If you eat cereal, bread, pasta, or rice, keep reading to see what nutrients you may be missing. The whole grain has all the nutrients God put into grains: fiber, protein, healthy fats, and lots of vitamins and minerals. The straight starch in white flour
