A fine how do you do... :(
After going for years of ibs with diarrhea... it seems as if my body said: "Ok, let's now switch to constipation" ... I actually feel WORSE with the constipation... Glycerine suppositories do nothing... not even an enema will 'get it all'.... Guess I'll start taking a half of a Cascara Sagrada capsule

New type of pain?
I've been living with endo for 20 years, diagnosed for 11. Last night I woke up at 5am with a pain I've never had before. Sometimes I have pain that feels like my uterus has been stretched and the muscles are all fatigued, this morning it was similar to that but covering my whole abdomen, from my diaphragm

Bowel issues - urgent help needed
I have been dx with Endo since 2004 and have been on opiates pretty much continuously since then. As a result, my bowels no longer work on their own. Sorry, this may well be TMI for some... I can't drink Movicol, I've tried but the saltiness makes me gag. The only thing I've found to work is to take

Neupro patch a learning experience
I'm on the Neupro 2mg patch after a ridiculously difficult cold turkey weaning from Mirapex (1.5mg nightly). I'm finding that there are a few things the directions don't mention but that seem to make a difference in how well it works. 1. Cleaning the area - if I use one of those face soaps that contain

A Homemade Pain Remedy.
This may or may not be of interest to some members ? There is a posting on 'Pain Concern' (on HealthUnlocked) about a Chemistry Graduate's homemade pain relief remedy which apparently works on many different types of pain, the concoction was made up of Magnesium Chloride, 100% vodka and Glycerin

New Shoes At Long Last

My wife gave me some gift vouchers for Run 4 it at Christmas but I've not been able to get into Aberdeen to visit their shop until today. When I joined the Navy, almost 30 years ago, I was

Every since generic levo I have been struggling. Can anyone help me!
Since starting gnereic levo four months ago, I have had a tremendous amount of reactions. I did not think nothing of it the first two months because I thought it was part of the process. Anyway within a half hour of taking it I would feel like my head was in a cloud, disoriented, spaced out, and tiered

I have been asked to share my story. Make yourself comfy and I will begin .......
In 1988 I went to my G.P. with joint pains which fluctuated around my body. When I booked the appointment I had pain in my neck and shoulders, by the time I saw him it was in my knees and wrists! The pain was put down to my being pregnant (with my second child), hormones etc. - advice, take pain killers

Levothyroxine Gel Capsules (no fillers) in the UK - anyone take these?...
9 years after my TT I had to drop my Levo dose down from 125 to 50 due to t4 toxicity. I have been taking 50 for a year and a half now and my t4 levels are low. I also take 20 t3 a day and a variety of supplements after a comprehensive blood test showed numerous borderline low levels. However... as
