Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis
My husband was diagnosed with Hypersensitivity
Pneumonitis
last week. Can I ask if anyone has managed to identify the allergen responsible for their HP? Is there a test that can be done?

Nintedanib
I've recently started to take nintedanib for my fibrosis which I have in both lungs, I've had hypersensitive
pneumonitis
for some years now (I'm 70) and also take prednisolone but I'm struggling with nausea and diarrhea and would like to know if this improves after a few weeks/months.

Enhertu side effect: pneumonitis (lung inflammation)
I'm wondering if anyone else on here developed
pneumonitis
from Enhertu, how long you had to pause treatment, and what your next steps were? Thanks and best wishes ...

What IV chemos have worked for you?
Hi all, I’ve failed on both Enhertu (which shrunk my cancer but cause
pneumonitis
) and now Trodelvy (did not work at all - had major progression in first 3 months). I now have extensive liver mets and new mets in my spine & pelvic bone.

stage 3b/c inoperable non small cell lung cancer. Cannot tolerate durvalumab, (pneumonitis) No mutations - any hope?
This was followed up with durvalumab ( discontinued after 5 sessions due to
pneumonitis
, and have been in corticoids ever since. My breathing & coughing has become progressively worse since, along with developing facial neuralgia.

coughing
I developed a bronchial cough, likely due to lung inflammation or
pneumonitis
while on both Kisqali, then Ibrance. My onco stopped the ibrance and put me on antibiotics, to see if it was bacterial. When that didn’t kick it out, she put me on prednisone, which did work.

DNR not sure what to do.
I have hypersensitivity
pneumonitis
a lung condition and pulmonary fibrosis. I was in hospital in January with Pneumonia and whilst in the assessment area of A & E a doctor asked me if I have and DNR in place in sort of threw me. I said not and must have looked shocked as he scuttled off.

Peribronchial nodules- is ít attributed to Ibrance?
I have read here that some developed
pneumonitis
or ILD. I’m just kind of worried since I’m really doing well with my combo meds in terms of side effects and would like to stay in these for so long. I would really appreciate to hear feedbacks from those who have experienced this. Thanks a lot!

Update
However some very adverse side effects including
pneumonitis
last cycle means that the trial hangs in the balance for me. It may be considered too risky to continue. Which is a shame as in 6 weeks my ca125 is down 100 points and my lymph nodes are in normal range again.

IPF or idiopathic ILD?
That led to a label of hypersensitivity
pneumonitis
or interstitial pneumonia at one point but still with the tag of idiopathic. I've asked numerous times whether my clinical team are absolutely sure I don't have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and keep being reassured that I don't.

lung cancer & phelgm
Wound up with 3 bouts of
pneumonitis
that was pretty bad. Come late 2022 a scan revealed the cancer was back and growing. I started a tougher chemo regiment with immunotherapy and completed 8 of the 12 treatments before taking a break for cryoablation.

Will lower dose of Nintedanib stop the terrible side effects?
However I realise it is possibly my only hope of extending my life expectancy- I have hypersensitivity
pneumonitis
( diagnosed in 2019 although I probably had it several years prior) on oxygen pretty well 24/7.
