Undiagnosed chronic pain
Hi all my names Chloe and I'm new here and was wondering if anyone had any tips on coping with undiagnosed chronic pain. When I was younger (primary school age) I started to develop pretty much every symptom possible of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis I had the swellings, aching, everything in my knees

Medication reliability
I am undergoing medical treatment with nerve conduction tests,
physiotherapy
and scans. I’ve also been given medication to take, Co-Codamaol, Pregabalin, Tramadol, Naproxen and more. As i have been on these medications since the injury occurred i believe i have become reliant on them.

I'm 33, married and ready to have a baby but I have vaginismus.
I was undergoing women's
physiotherapy
and have had psychosexual counselling, but due to Covid19 my treatment has been stopped- Huge shame. I'm so afraid of having a baby due to the pre natal invasive exams, insemination/conception, child birth itself and everything in between and beyond.

Hi everyone, I hope everyone's having a decent day! I'm sorry this might be a bit long..... I have been passed from pillar to post again and again by various gyneas, doctors, nurses and I'm getting so much different information and fobbings off I don't know what to do. I'll try and summarise: Started

semi update
Hello all - hope you are all doing well, I dip in and out of the forum but trying not to get too involved until I have a better picture of my situation. My MSUS scans are next week on Wednesday and I will update then about procedure and cost etc. In the meantime, I thought I would let you all know that

Sore pelvis after sex
I have had chronic inflammation/pain in my pelvis for around 5 years. The condition has appeared to manifest as an ache in the pelvis (mainly rectum) that appears less than 24 hours after an orgasm, and typically lasts 4-5 days. The discomfort prevents me from sleeping, so I have to take an anti-inflammatory

Help for these fingers and angel drawing update
Thanks to all who responded with help and advice about my fingers. Several possibilities have given me some possibilities that may help, physical therapy seems to be a possible solution. Also mention of tenosynovitis which I need to research since I’ve also been having trouble with my toes.

Low Ferritin again!
I am at my wits end with this. Please try to help. I have been in pain and trying to be patient for months. Also I haven't had time to get my wits together and ask for help on here as my family commitments have been many and stressful. My son now has CRPS again and his doctors are being useless and obstructive

Good morning, I am new to posting but not new to reading all of the wonderful advice from you ladies. So basically my sudden unbearable pain started before Christmas and since then it’s just been there. Pelvic pain, leg, back pain all on the right side. Haven’t had a pain free day for months. I have

Help for these fingers and an angel drawing
I saw my GP to hopefully help for these fingers. My writing is getting worse and drawing is really affected at times. The tendons in the ring and little fingers, both hands but right side is worse, are “catching” on the knuckles when I close them into a fist or grasp a pencil. GP says osteoarthritis

A Wonderful Day for a Run, But Here’s the Deal
I went for my physio appointment yesterday evening. The hip has settled down a fair bit over the last few days so I think was hoping he would say it would be OK for me to start running again. But he was unequivocal in saying that it would not be advisable. 😢 His diagnosis was gluteal tendinopathy

I have tried all sorts of medication, reflexology,
physiotherapy

But I am so PROUD to have achieved what I have. I got to 60 mins on the time magic plan and intended to do the distance plan cos I felt like I

Update on rectal pain and bleeding during period.
So,I still have rectal pain and bleeding during my periods. I saw one of consultants from Endometriosis clinic in his private practise .He did vaginal scan and Speculum examination. Biologics
So finally after several severe asthma attacks the community consultant has finally done my referral for biologics after the respiratory nurse and physio sent a few emails! What do I expect to happen next? I know they don't do them in my area so it's a 2 hour trip to Plymouth and then 2 hours back but

I can’t help myself, but I’m starting to get really cranky 😖
I haven’t run since pulling up with hip pain at roughly the half-way point of my HU Virtual Spring 10k 9 days ago. After 2 days of hobbling round the house and application of ice, things settled down a bit. It now feels a bit like the ITB trouble and bursitis I had following a car accident years ago

BIG and LOUD Program
I am sure many of you have already gone through the BIG program. However, I met with the physical therapist in my area that runs the program today and she asked me to spread the word that NEWLY DIAGNOSED folks with Parkinson’s should actually start the BIG program sooner rather than later. For those

Broken ankle, pesky hip - the saga continues
If anyone remembers - I restarted c25k again 3 months ago (re-re-started?) after breaking my ankle, but 3 weeks in, the joint swelled up and I had to stop again. I went back to my NHS physio - luckily they hadn't signed me off - and after some exercises at home she called me in for a face-to face. It's
